Zie Tsaghkadzor, bekend als de Bloemenvallei, tijdens deze 7-8 uur durende tour. Rijd met de kabelbaan om de schoonheid van de plaats te bewonderen. Ga naar het Kecharis-kloostercomplex in Tsaghkadzor voordat je naar het Sevanmeer gaat, de parel van dit bergachtige land. Stop bij het Sevanavank-kloostercomplex op het schiereiland Sevan. Geniet van rust aan de oever van het meer en zwemmen (tijdens het zomerseizoen). Aan het einde van de tour heb je een geweldige kans om de lekkere Sevan-forelbarbecue te proeven!

Tsaghkadzor stad (vertaald als vallei van bloemen) wordt beschouwd als een van de meest populaire wintersportplaatsen van Armenië. Het is een van de plaatsen van ons bergachtige land, waar de schoonheid van de natuur verschijnt met zijn hele verscheidenheid. Tsaghkadzor ligt in de regio Kotayk, 60 km ten noorden van Jerevan, op de oostelijke helling van de berg Teghenis, omgeven door ongerepte bossen en alpenweiden.
Kecharis klooster ligt in het noordwestelijke deel van Tsaghkadzor. Het werd gebouwd in 11 - 13e eeuw. Het klooster bestaat uit vier kerken en een half verwoest mausoleum van Grigorius Pahlavuni, die de bouw van het klooster financierde.
Een prachtig tafereel opent zich in het noordwestelijke deel van het Sevanmeer, waar het schiereiland uittorent boven het transparante oppervlak van het meer. Het Sevanavankklooster werd in 874 op het schiereiland gebouwd in opdracht van de dochter van koning Ashot Bagratuni – prinses Mariam. Het silhouet van de kerken tegen de achtergrond van het turquoise meer en de blauwe lucht werpt onverklaarbare impressie op de bezoekers.
De fascinatie en de "parel" van het bergachtige Armenië is het Sevanmeer, een van 's werelds grootste zoetwatermeren op grote hoogte. Het ligt ongeveer 1900 m boven zeeniveau. Het meer is van vulkanische oorsprong en wordt omringd door bergen van 3000 m en hoger. Het prachtige landschap en het kristalheldere water dienen mooie randvoorwaarden voor een uitstekende rust. Het meer is ook beroemd om zijn schiereiland en middeleeuwse kerkcomplex, gebouwd in 874.

The tour of Tsaghkadzor and Sevan with Gayane and Samuel was a great time. Fair price and were able to do some extras due to everybody's punctuality. Took about 7 hours total with a little over an hour spent at the major stops, around 2 hours at Sevan. Weather was a little chilly, but just right for Armenian summer, AC and wifi on bus are great. In late June, Sevan is starting to get busy, decent crowds at Sevanavank and the Kecharis Monastarey, it will get busier as the summer goes on.
The whole tour was very good, every stop is worth the time. Our tour guide Samvel made sure to explain everything like history, culture, etc., In every destination they give you enough time to explore and take pictures. This tour is very smooth and no hassle, kudos to our tour guide Samvel and driver Spartakus who made sure the trip was safe, fun and knowledgeable and lastly the bus was clean and comfortable. Overall, if I'll ever visit Armenia again I will make sure to book my tours with Hyur. Very good service. 100% recommended.

I was on this bus tour in Yerevan and realy enjoy it, booking was easy, transfer from hotel included. Our Tour guide „Sam“ was very professional nice and did his best during the tour, explained enough in each location and guided the tour very professionaly and everyone felt very pleasunt, I do recommend you to take these tours and have this experience with Sam! We had an enjoyable and well-organized day tour with Sam as our tour leader and Captain Levan as our driver. Sam was friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly, while the transportation was very comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and excellent air conditioning. The boat ride on Lake Sevan was the highlight of the trip and is highly recommended for its beautiful views. The Tsaghkadzor ropeway is worth trying once for the scenery, although there is not much to do at the top. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good way to explore some of Armenia’s most famous attractions.
