We starten met een starter natuurlijk. Een selectie van verfijnde vleeswaren en kaas. Perfect te combineren met een glas cava.
Zo dicht bij de zee vraagt natuurlijk een proeverij uit onze Noordzee. Proef de overheerlijke verse grijze garnaal aan de historische vismarkt van Brugge. We proeven ze natuurlijk ongepeld. Het beste! Kan ook heir gecombineerd worden met Ron glaasje cava.
We gaan kaas proeven in de best kaaswinkel van Brugge en we leren hoe we echt een kaasplank moeten aansnijden.
Geen tour zonder bier. We proeven één van de drie lokale heerlijkheden in een typisch lokale herberg.
Tijd voor het hoofdgerecht onze Belgische friet. maar niet zomaar een friet Proef frietjes in één van de best frietzaken in Brugge.
We zijn aan de desserts gekomen en starten met een Luikse wafel gemaakt in Brugge. Verser kan niet.
In Brugge zijn 56 chocolade winkels. Enkel 6 ervan maken hun eigen chocolade. We bezoeken één ervan. Een echte Brugse culinaire chocolade. winkel.

Inga the guide was great however this is nowhere near a premium culinary tour and certainly not value for money. Standing in the street in the rain. No table reservations Only 1 drink. Sharing frites and 1 chocolate each summed it up. We have done these tours across many cities in Europe and this was by far the most disappointing we have ever done. Maybe Bruges should just not try and offer this type of tour.
Hi Stephen, thanks for your review. We are very disappointed you were not happy with the tour. Giving the best experience is our main goal during the tour. The tour is an outside experience where we sit inside at 2 stops. The tastings are also a tastings of Belgian products served from local shops. This is a part the experience being close to the product. The culinary tour is unfortunately not a sequence of dishes where serve Belgian cuisine. As indeed mentioned Bruges had not the accommodation for that kind of tours. I suggest when you book a tour you first read the itinerary before the tour to avoid disappointment. Xavier was extremely knowledgeable. The private tour captured the hidden jewels of Bruges. We were well taken care of, and the food choices were perfect! We hope to return with our family.

Xavier was a very good guide. The tour is geared towards foodies, and stresses quality over quantity. Order of tastings are presented as courses of a meal, which results in some extra walking. We especially appreciated the neighborhood cheese shop. I would suggest that the host bring (or you bring yourself) some cut pieces of baguette and a bottle of water to cleanse your palate between the tastings. Be aware that many of the tasting visits require you to stand outside on the street.

Our guide was very knowledgeable both about the food we were enjoying and the city itself. In addition to sharing information about the food itself he provided a ton of interesting information about Bruges and its history. Would definitely recommend.

It was a nice way to explore Bruges. It is not commercial and is very relaxed. The delicacies of Bruges/Belgium tasted in a unique way. Visited small tents that specialized in cheese, fish and meats. Xavier tells beautiful background stories of the background of Bruges. Had a very nice afternoon.

Nice tour and visited nice hidden shops. This way you can visit places that you would otherwise not visit. Nice conversations and interesting stories. Some critical note, the guide gave his opinion that a certain store sold the “best chocolate” (for example), but did not substantiate this.
