Verken Brugge met een kleine groep. De gediplomeerde gids toont je de prachtige plekken in het historisch centrum. Om elke hoek wordt je er verrast door een prachtig uitzicht. Je ziet het statige stadhuis, pittoreske pleinen en indrukwekkende gevels. Deze middeleeuwse stad heeft zijn bijzondere kenmerken goed bewaard. Een boottocht is een fantastische manier om op een relaxte manier de verborgen hoekjes te ontdekken. De boot deel je met andere gasten. Nadien neemt de lokale gids je verder mee langs de Bonifaciusbrug, groene binnentuintjes en prachtige steegjes.

Het belfort is het belangrijkste gebouw op de grote markt. Dit plein wordt omringd door gildenhuizen met een eeuwenoude geschiedenis.
De Basiliek van het Heilig Bloed heeft een indrukwekkende facade met goudkleurige beelden. Langs een bijzondere trap bereik je de bovenkapel in neogostische stijl. Er is ook een lift. Dit wil je immers niet missen! De benedenkapel is totaal anders. Die verrast met de dikke muren, kleine ramen en de unieke sfeer. Op hetzelfde plein ligt het eeuwenoude stadhuis. Dit gebouw met de ranke torens is de absolute blikvanger. Hier vertelt de gids u over de beelden en de wapenschilden.
De vismarkt wordt omringd door 126 zuilen. Het ligt vlak aan een schilderachtig kanaal met bomen, bankjes en huizen met trapgevels.
Geniet van een boottocht op de kanalen van Brugge! Een half uur lang brengt de kapitein je langs de mooiste plekjes. De kapitein geeft uitleg over de bezienswaardigheden langs het traject.
Hier ontdek je de Beerwall met meer dan 2000 verschillende Belgische bieren telkens met het passende glas.
In de tuin van het Arentshuis ontdek je de zuilen van de waterhalle. Hier staan 4 bronzen beelden die de ruiters van de Apocalyps voorstellen. Je hebt er een prachtig zicht op het Bonifatiusbruggetje, het Gruuthusepaleis en de toren van de Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk.
De binnenplaats van het paleis van de familie Gruuthuse is imposant. Je ontdekt er het beeld van Lodewijk boven de ingangsdeur. De gids vertelt over de geschiedenis van deze machtige familie.

- Het station ligt op 20 minuten stappen van de markt van Brugge. Er zijn ook taxi's en busjes. beschikbaar

Ric was an exceptional guide with much knowledge of history told in an engaging way. Boat ride was fun and a nice 30 minute break from walking and standing. We were treated to chocolates and a cold beverage along the way also which was a pleasant surprise.

It was a very good way of sampling Brugge and learning facts we wouldn’t have known. Our tour guide Fabienne was very knowledgeable and a real character! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is there was no wireless vox provided.

The tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable. He shared facts and information about the city and useful tips for the rest of our time in Bruges. The walking element of the tour was in two parts, with the boat trip part way through. This worked very well. The trip on the canal was also very enjoyable

Incredibly wonderful city. Absolutely worth seeing on foot and/or on the water. We were inspired by the show "Wunderschön" and saw and did everything that was shown there. Our tour guide was very well-informed, funny, and lively, even though he had a cold/was hoarse. He expertly guided us through Bruges in 3 1/2 hours (2 1/5 hours were indicated), something we have never experienced before. It was not boring, well-balanced, simply top-notch 😘.
