De Tour begint met ophalen bij uw hotel om u naar de Poas-vulkaan te brengen, terwijl we de berg beklimmen, zullen we onderweg koffieplantages zien, evenals varen-, bloemen- en aardbeienboerderijen, waardoor een prachtige reeks kleuren en beelden ontstaat. Er is een merkbare verandering in temperatuur en vegetatie, die ons voorbereidt op het plezier van het uitbundige nevelwoud van de Poas-vulkaan. De Poás-vulkaan is een actieve stratovulkaan van 2.708 meter (8.885 voet). De krater van de vulkaan is meer dan anderhalve kilometer breed en 300 meter diep. Het is sinds 1828 40 keer uitgebarsten, inclusief april 2017. Bij de vulkaan hebben we tijd om te genieten van de indrukwekkende hoofdkrater met zijn zwavelfumarolen.

Coffee Farm is onze eerste en enige koffieboerderij. We zijn hier gekomen om de grond te bewerken, van het land te leren en onze passie te kanaliseren in positieve verandering. Nu nodigen we je uit om koffie te herontdekken via de menselijke ervaring. Als je het eenmaal hebt bezocht, heb jij ook het eigendom in de toekomst. Ervaar de wonderbaarlijke reis van koffie in ons meeslepende nieuwe bezoekerscentrum. Krijg een hands-on kijkje in een werkende boomkwekerij, natte molen, droogterras en brander. Bekijk wat we doen om boeren sterker te maken, duurzame werkwijzen te promoten en de volgende generatie koffie te ontwikkelen. Rondleidingen zijn beschikbaar in het Engels en Spaans.

I bought the tour for my family. Uncomfortable transportation. But what really displeased me is that they DO NOT DELIVER what they promise: it describes the walk by the waterfall, and you only see it from the road. I feel scammed.
It was a good trip. Guide was excellent and the volcano and coffee tour was grest.
The truth is that everything was very good, in general the food, the attention and service.

My son and I had one day in San Jose and wanted something fun to do so we booked the volcano, coffee tour. We had the best experience! Charly was a great guide. We learned so much about the area and the coffee! Thankfully the weather was perfect just as we made it to the volcano. A big storm came in during lunch but it didn’t affect the experience at all. It was the perfect way to spend our day in San Jose! Thank you so much!

Everything was excellent. Charly is a great guide and a great person. He gave a great explanation of each part of the tour and made the trip very pleasant and enjoyable.
Fun small tour with multiple adventures. Fun learnings and interactions on the very popular Costa Rican topics or volcanos and coffee. Loved the actual working walk-through of coffee processing from berry to bean to cup . Amazing. Muchas gracias !
A wonderful trip, the tour guide was excellent in explaining everything that we saw. The only downfall was dealing with Mother Nature, when around the volcano.
