Voor deze volledige dagtour bezoeken we drie ongelooflijke plaatsen die volledig uniek zijn voor dit gebied. Naast dat we meer leren over Costa Ricaanse koffie, bezoeken we de Poás-vulkaan, een van de slechts zeven actieve vulkanen in het land. We zullen dan meer dan 100 soorten zien, waaronder geredde luiaards en kolibries in de La Paz-watervaltuinen. Dit is mijn favoriete reis in de omgeving van San Jose en biedt je een geweldige combinatie van een schilderachtig landschap en de kans om dicht bij de vele soorten te komen die in Costa Rica voorkomen.

We reizen door het koffieland van San Isidro, door vele kleine koffieplantages in Alajuela, waar u meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis van de koffieproductie in Costa Rica, het proces van hoe koffie wordt gemaakt in deze provincie met een geweldig uitzichtpunt om foto's te maken in Alajuela Providence. We bezoeken het beroemde natuurpark La Paz Waterfall Gardens, een van de mooiste parken in Costa Rica. Tijdens ons bezoek zullen we meer dan 100 geredde diersoorten zien, waaronder luiaards, jaguars, toekans, kolibries en nog veel meer. Het is een ervaring waarvan onze gasten vaak zeggen dat het het hoogtepunt van hun reis is! We zullen dan een lunchbuffet hebben met meer dan 35 voedselopties voor elk wat wils. Ten slotte bezoeken we de vijf beroemde watervallen van La Paz, die op verschillende locaties pittoreske fotomomenten bieden.
We reizen naar de Poás-vulkaan, een van de zeven huidige actieve vulkanen in Costa Rica! Nadat we de indrukwekkende hoofdkrater hebben bereikt, wandelen we naar de Botos-lagune en volgen we de paden rond de vulkaan om de natuur te verkennen.

This tour packs a lot into one day and it's all a ton of fun! Raquel is a super knowledgeable guide. The coffee plantation visit was interesting and the coffee was delightful. The volcanic crater was really cool-- getting to the viewing spot was a short hike so you will want to wear comfy shoes. It's also dependent on cloud cover. Fortunately we lucked out and it was visible. Finally, the wildlife sanctuary and waterfalls were wonderful. The sanctuary has tons of animals that were rescued from the exotic pet trade. The waterfalls were gorgeous. Getting to them meant going up and down many steep and slippery stairs but it was very worth it.
Nice comfy air conditioning van. Great organization and communication. Wonderful guides the whole day. Book it now you won't regret it!
I RECOMMEND THIS EXCURSION 1000/10!!!! If you enjoy a bit of hiking plus, animal sancuaries, you would love it!. The tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgable.
We had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip and it was well worth the money. Everything we did on this trip was memorable and meaningful--from coffee plantation tour, volcano crater viewing, animal rescue center, and waterfall gardens. We also had a terrific guide, Raquel/Rachel. She was especially knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. All in all, I'd say don't miss this trip and you would be happy to have Raquel as your guide.

I had a wonderful day trip to Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens. The itinerary was very well organized and perfectly paced, so we never felt rushed. Our guide, Raquelle, was amazing — very knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We were a small group of only six people, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. We were lucky to see both the volcano and the lagoon, although that depends on the weather. La Paz was also beautiful, with the animals and the waterfalls making it a great mix of nature, learning, and a bit of exercise before heading back. Highly recommended!
This was great fun and a real experience. We were lucky enough to see the volcanoes as the clouds parted. Our tour guide (Rachel) was great and was very friendly Anna easy going.
⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Tour We’ve Ever Taken! Our Full Day Poás Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, and Coffee Plantation tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. A special thank you to Mr. Olman, the owner and driver, and Raquel, our tour guide. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, outstanding communicators, and, most importantly, genuinely kind and caring people who made everyone feel welcome. When we arrived at Poás Volcano, it was completely covered by clouds. Many people would have given up, but Raquel encouraged us to be patient and wait about 30 minutes. Thanks to her experience and positive attitude, the clouds began to clear after only 20 minutes, and we were rewarded with the most spectacular view of the volcano. It was truly a magical moment that we will never forget. The tour was conducted in a small group of only six people, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. We met wonderful travelers from different parts of the world, adding an extra special touch to the day. Every stop was amazing, well-organized, and perfectly timed. The coffee plantation was fascinating, the waterfalls were breathtaking, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, this was the best tour we have ever done. I did this tour with my mom and it was a perfect way to experience different places near San Jose. Raquel was an excellent tour guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating (for example, she was very clear about the level of effort for some of the walks at different sites so people could opt out and take alternate routes if they wanted). The driver was also very safe and the van was comfortable. We had enough time at each of the sites and never felt rushed. The lunch was very good and included plenty of options. I highly recommend this tour.
