Onze chauffeur wacht op u in de lobby van uw hotel en gaat verder met de rondleiding. Wat Chayamangkalaram-tempel is een Thaise tempel in Penang, beroemd om zijn grote, vergulde liggende Boeddha, die op 33 m hoogte ligt, en een van de grootste ter wereld is.
De Birmese tempel van Dhammikarama is een boeddhistische tempel in Birmese stijl, gesticht in 1803, met uitgebreide, kleurrijke stoepa's en sculpturen. In de hoofdgebedzaal worden stemmen gereduceerd tot gefluister en de stilte wordt alleen verbroken door af en toe bellen van tempelklokken. De nieuwste toevoeging aan de Dhammikarama-boeddhistische tempel is de Gouden Pagode-klokkentoren.

De Kapitan Keling-moskee is ontworpen op een merkwaardige mix van stijlen, een combinatie van koloniale architectuur met traditionele Moorse bogen, en het interieur is voorzien van een fantastische kristallen kroonluchter en kalligrafiepanelen. Gebouwd door de Indiase moslims, voornamelijk het hoofd van de Indiase moslimgemeenschap, noemt Kapten Caudeer de moskee naar zichzelf en naar Keling, de oorsprong van zijn geboorteplaats.
Yap Temple, de clan tempel van de Lum Yeong Tong Yap Kongsi, gelegen ernaast. De clan-tempel bevindt zich op de hoek van Armeense straat en Cannon Street, in de kernzone van de George Town, die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat.
De straat begint bij de St.George-kerk die door Anglicanen werd gerund en gebouwd door de Britse Oost-Indische Compagnie in 1819 en staat bekend als het oudste gebouw in Penang. Gebouwd met een Griekse architectuur, het interieur bestaat uit een koel pastelblauw met marmeren vloeren en buiten het hoofdgebouw op het kerkhof staat een gedenkteken voor Sir Francis Light in de vorm van een Griekse tempel.
Toonaangevende attractieparkbouwer met een bewezen staat van dienst in het leveren van spannende recreatieve attracties. De TOP wordt een must-visit attractie in Penang. Het Top Penang ticket is inclusief toegang tot het Observatory Deck / Rainbow Skywalk.

Really good tour, our guides took us around Penang and explained the history of the island with lots of information we wouldn’t have been able to catch without him. We also visited lots of historical sites and then went to The Top, the highest point in Penang.

I cannot praise this highly enough.. from the very start (message confirming pick-up sent to me in good time) the car was comfortable and spotlessly clean. My host driver has been guiding for over twenty years and knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Penang, it’s culture, it’s history. I had a recent operation and at present have a cane nd I was taken great care of throughout the trip. Parking close to everything, assistance in exiting cr and dealing with any steps.. Yes I does say in the description that if they can’t get tickets for Petronas they will get KL tower tickets. But they should have a note that if you are doing “ Reserve and pay later” that they won’t buy the tickets until the day before the event. The reason I purchased this specific tour is because the Petronas towers tickets were included. Also the Batu caves. The tour is pretty expensive but we did not see the Batu caves because of an Hindu holiday and we did not go up the observation deck for Petronas tower. When we got on the car I asked the driver if he got the tickets for the Petronas tower and he said yes. I said wonderful ! I told him that since we were not going to Batu caves that we wanted to go to KL tower but we will pay for them. He stopped in a store and bought KL tower tickets. When we got to Petronas Tower he said: there is the entrance. We asked him: ok but we need the tickets. Then he said: oh no we called yesterday and the tickets were sold out so you got KL tower tickets. I was so upset!! The driver was almost mute he wil point to the next place and say the name tat is all. This was the worse Viator tour we have taken.
