Dilijan is een resort gebied waar u de voorouders van Sovjet-tijdperk Kono acteurs en een prachtig klein meer eromheen zult ontmoeten, en proeven van de meest beroemde water in de wereld.
Aan het Sevanmeer is er een enorm restaurant dat zich uitstrekt vanwaar er een prachtig uitzicht op het Sevanmeer is, hier hebben we de mogelijkheid om de heerlijke producten van het Sevanmeer te proeven.
Sevanavank is een klooster genoemd naar zijn ligging op de top van het schiereiland Sevan aan de bron van de rivier de Hrazdan. De tijd van de bouw van de tempels die vandaag de dag bestaan is het einde van de 9e eeuw. De patrones van het klooster, die geld toewees voor de bouw van kerken, is de dochter van de stichter van de koninklijke dynastie van Bagratuni - Mariam. Tussen de unieke artefacten van het klooster valt een gebeeldhouwde houten deur op die het plot van de Daling van de Heilige Geest afbeeldt, een unieke khachkar met de afbeelding van Jezus en illustraties bij het evangelie, wat vrij zeldzaam is voor khachkars. Het complex bestaat uit de tempels van St. Karapet en de Heilige Apostelen, gebouwd in de IX eeuw. Ooit speelde het klooster de rol van fortbuitenpost, het was een strategisch punt verheerlijkt door de universiteit.

In het hart van Jerevan bezoeken we de prachtige fontein en winkelen op het Plein van de Republiek.
De terugreis van Jerevan naar Tbilisi duurt minimaal 4 uur. We stoppen ook bij een fastfood restaurant in de gewenste kamer.

Excellent excursion with a very professional and humorous guide. She was able to describe the history of Armenia to us with passion
This was a very long (18hrs) but worthwhile daytrip to Armenia This day trip has a combination of mountain scenery, wind swept Lake Sevan, the atmospheric Monastery complex of Sevanavank, Soviet infrastructure and the highly unique quirky capital of Yerevan. A great insight into a lesser known area of the world was provided by our guide who was very informative on the the history culture and people of Armenia. If you want a great but long day out the journey to and back from Yerevan and the places visited gives you a taster of Armenia which should not be missed
Long drive but David is nice and friendly tour guide. We have sufficient numbers of stops. Armenia is rreally a hidden gem. One thing is to improve is the bus is abit hot, AC does not work well.

Overall, the one day trip from Tbilisi to Yerevan was a good experience 🚐🌄 The places we visited were beautiful, and the journey itself was interesting with many nice views along the way. Everything was organized well, and it was a great opportunity to see different locations in one day 👍 However, by the end of the trip it became a bit tiring and slightly exhausting due to the long duration of the journey 🕒😅 Still, it was a worthwhile experience and a good way to explore the region in a short time.
