Beschrijving
Op slechts 10 kilometer van de stad Ushuaia vinden we een natuurlijke schat van onschatbare waarde. De met sneeuw bedekte toppen van het laatste deel van het Andesgebergte steken uit boven de beboste valleien en onthullen hun toppen die zijn uitgehouwen door de laatste ijstijden. De paden dringen deze dichte vegetatie binnen en leiden ons naar de kusten van het Beaglekanaal en zoetwatermeren. Het verkennen van het park in de middag biedt ons de mogelijkheid om optimaal te profiteren van het daglicht, dat in de zomer tot ongeveer 23.00 uur duurt, en ons onder te dompelen in de rust van de natuur, waarbij we de commotie vermijden die wordt veroorzaakt door de grote contingenten toeristen. Als de zonsondergang aanbreekt, gaan we naar een gezellige structurele koepel waar we zullen genieten van een heerlijk diner. Daar kunnen we ontspannen en genieten van een speciaal ontworpen menu met regionale ingrediënten, terwijl we bij kaarslicht de zonsondergang delen en het moment doorbrengen met een warm gesprek.

Er wordt een korte, gemakkelijke wandeling aangeboden (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid) met uitzicht op het Beaglekanaal en de Hoste- en Navarino-eilanden, gelegen aan de andere kant van het kanaal. Hier kun je archeologische overblijfselen zien van de Yámana, de oorspronkelijke bewoners van deze regio.
Er wordt een korte wandeling langs de kust van het gletsjermeer aangeboden. Dit waterlichaam, ook bekend als Lake Acigami zoals de inboorlingen het noemden, wordt gedeeld tussen Argentinië en Chili en is meer dan 11 km lang en 2 km in de breedste sector.
Deze iconische plek vertegenwoordigt een van de meest emblematische plekken van het Nationaal Park, aangezien hier het zuidelijkste uiteinde van de Pan-American Highway ligt. Er wordt een gemakkelijke interpretatieve wandeling aangeboden met uitzicht op de monding van de baai naar het Beaglekanaal, het Mesa Real-gebergte en Cerro Cóndor.
Er wordt een gastronomische ervaring aangeboden met het proeven van lokale producten in een natuurlijke omgeving van grote schoonheid, met uitzicht op Cerro Cóndor en aan de oevers van de rivier de Lapataia.
We zullen per voertuig door het Nationaal Park toeren, begeleid door onze deskundige gids. We stoppen bij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en panoramische punten om de enige plek in Argentinië te ontdekken die bergen, bos en zee in hetzelfde landschap combineert.

De exacte ophaaltijd wordt de dag voor de tour doorgegeven. Onze gids meldt zich bij de receptie van het hotel en vraagt u naar uw voor- en achternaam, zodat het hotelpersoneel u kan vinden. Wij adviseren u om op het afgesproken tijdstip in de lobby van het hotel op ons te wachten om vertragingen te voorkomen. * In sommige maanden kan de excursie 30 tot 60 minuten eerder beginnen, zodat er beter gebruik kan worden gemaakt van het daglicht.

A fantastic experience exploring Tierra del Fuego national park, far exceeding our expectations. We expected the park to be spectacular ( which it is) but we did not expect the amazing home cooked dinner by the river at the end of the tour! We had home made soup, amazing king crab, fabulous pancakes and a great bottle of Malbec! The whole tour was a wonderful experience with two guides (Franco and Jonny, forgive my spelling) who clearly really love the area. Heartily recommend.

My partner and I had the pleasure of participating in an absolutely fantastic tour in Ushuaia that exceeded our expectations. Our guides, Carolina and Franco, were waiting for us exactly as arranged, and with their warm and welcoming attitude, they immediately created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The drive from Ushuaia city to the breathtaking Tierra del Fuego National Park was super pleasant in their luxury minibus. The tour began with a drive to “The End of the World” – the iconic point where Route 3, which runs all the way from Alaska, ends. Carolina took us out hiking to share with us the love she has for the nature. She guided us away from the large groups of tourists, to let us hear the sound and feel the soul of the nature. We learned so much from Carolina about the nature, the history of Ushuaia and the natives. We have been hiking many other places in the world but this hike with Carolina, will forever stay in our hearts. With Carolina’s pleasant company and knowledge of the area, the tour quickly felt more like a friendly outing rather than a typical guided tour. While we explored the nature, Franco was preparing our dinner, which was also part of the tour. After a few hours of hiking in the beautiful surroundings, Franco picked us up and drove us to a cozy hut with a fantastic panoramic view of an idyllic mountain lake, where we were welcomed with an atmospheric and delicious candlelight dinner. Throughout the meal, Carolina and Franco ensured that we had everything we could wish for, with a perfect balance of attention and privacy. After the lovely dinner, we were driven back to our Airbnb, relaxed and filled with memories from a fantastic afternoon and evening. Normally, we choose tours that already have many good reviews, but this time we took a chance and were the first to try this new tour. Therefore, we are the first to review it, and we can confidently say that it was an experience that exceeded our wildest expectations. We can confidently say that Ushuaia PM will give you an experience of a lifetime.
