KFDC Flower Garden zou ook de Munnar Rose Garden zijn die werkt onder het Kerala Forest Development Centre. Munnar Rose Garden is de thuisbasis van een uitgebreide collectie bloeiende planten, struiken, klimplanten, geneeskrachtige planten en kruiden. Je kunt ook een verscheidenheid aan planten kopen waar je van houdt uit de uitlaat in de tuin. Het inschrijfgeld is Rs.20 per persoon en heeft extra kosten voor fotografie.
Fotopunt is een populaire plek in Munnar die je een aangename sfeer geeft van theeplantage, Silver Oak Tree, Stream enz. Hier kun je foto's maken gekleed in de authentieke look van een plantagearbeider die je een mooie herinnering zal geven aan heel anders ervaring.

Mattupetty-dam, de betonnen opslagdam onder het hydro-elektrische project van Pallivasal. Het wordt omgeven door The Sholaforest en theeplantages. In de Mattupetty-dam kun je ook deelnemen aan activiteiten zoals waterfietsen en speedboten, georganiseerd door de toeristenraad. De Mattupetty Cattle-boerderij is een andere belangrijke attractie in Mattupetty, het is een Livestock-project dat hier werkt. Dit staat ook bekend als een Indo-Zwitsers project dat bestaat uit verschillende soorten vee. Het betreden van de Veehouderij is alleen toegestaan op afspraak.
Thee vallei uitzicht
Zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, is deze plaats beroemd om het fenomeen Echoing. Deze plek geeft ook een prachtig uitzicht op de dam en met het bos. Hier kunt u heerlijk winkelen in een kleine straat.
Het Kundala-meer is een beroemde toeristische plek die is gebouwd in de rivier de Periyar en wordt omringd door de West-Ghat-bergketens. Kersenbloesem Boom die slechts twee keer per jaar bloeit, is de belangrijkste attractie van het Kundala-meer. Je kunt hier waterfietsen, speedboot varen en shikkara varen.
Het bergstation bevindt zich in de grens van Munnar-TamilNadu. Het is ongeveer 1700 meter boven zeeniveau, vanaf hier kunnen we het panoramische uitzicht op West-Ghat ervaren. Omdat het zo hoog is, kun je ook het Theni-district in Tamil Nadu zien. Het mistige effect geeft je het gevoel in de hemel te zijn. Je kunt ook de ervaring opdoen om wolken naast je te zien.
Tata Tea Museum is een populaire toeristische plek die is gelegen in Nallathanni Estate, Munnar van Kerala. Het ligt op een afstand van ongeveer 1,2 km van de stad Munnar. Great way to see the surroundings of Munnar including the main spots. We booked the Jeep for 4 people and it was great! Our guide Ganesh was super good and very carefully explained us about the different spots and things we saw. Very recommended if you are in Munnar!
My driver Genesh went around safely and guide me new knowledges about Munnar which was interesting. it was on Monday so I cannot go to tea factory though, I was satisfied with looking around spice garden. Thank you.

Had a great time Ganesh exploring the tea plantations and even got to see an Indian Giant Squirrel. He was super friendly and made sure we didn't miss anything. He also helped build the day around the experiences that we want to see. Thanks again for a great day.

Ganesh was an amazing guide. Showing us lots of wildlife. And even stopping when we saw the rare Indian giant squirrel. He knew all the good spots. I would highly recommend a day with him if you can. Our hotel was outside the main city and he came a picked us up too, for a minimal fee, which we really appreciated.

We had a great time during our guided walk in the tea plantations and the visit of the tea factory. We learned so much about the tea ecosystem, not just the plantation! Our guide, Mari, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for questions, there was no rush and the 3 hour-tour was very enjoyable. There was no push for us to buy any tea, just time to learn and appreciate the various tea qualities. I highly recommend if you are curious about tea history and its ecosystem and enjoy walking outdoor. The walk is easy and with several stops!

A fantastic way to see Munnar in a day. Karthik was a great guide/driver and went above and beyond. Looking back I can't believe how much ground we covered and how much I was able to experience on our day together (I even had time to get a little kayaking in!). Going by tuk tuk was especially fun.
