Zomersneeuw !! Dit is hoe we deze geweldige tour rond de berg Aragats kunnen beschrijven, terwijl er het hele jaar door sneeuw ligt. De tour is beschikbaar van mei tot oktober en in de wintermaanden is de weg volledig afgesloten vanwege de overvloedige sneeuw. Behalve de berg bezoekt u ook culturele en historische bezienswaardigheden van het Saghmosavank-klooster, Alphabet Alley en Amberd Fortress. Er zijn lokale restaurants waar u traditionele Armeense maaltijden kunt krijgen (niet inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour). Duur: 6-7 uur Totale afstand: 140 km

Sahjmosavank is een 13e-eeuws klooster in de regio Aragatsotn. Vanaf daar heb je een geweldig uitzicht op Kasakh Canyon.
39 sculpturen van de unieke Armeense letters staan helemaal onderaan de berg Aragats. U kunt een foto maken in de buurt van de sculptuur van de eerste letter van uw naam. Als uw naam bijvoorbeeld Alexander is, kunt u een foto maken in de buurt van de letter "A".
Aragats is de hoogste berg in Armenië - 4090 meter boven zeeniveau. Je bereikt tot 3.150 meter hoogte en loopt in de buurt van Lake Kari. Hier ligt er zelfs in de zomermaanden sneeuw en de temperatuur is 10-15 graden lager dan in Yerevan.
Amberd is een van de best bewaarde forten in Armenië, gebouwd in de 10e eeuw.

The experience was great, our driver was terrible. Drove in both lanes at the same time- stopped for cigarette and coffee break so he wouldn’t fall asleep behind the wheel. Other than that, it was a great experience

You need competent drivers. We waited 45 minutes just to find out he was parked outside the whole time, never going into the hotel to see who he was taking on the tour. Further, his driving skills were awful…stepped on the gas to just to stop within a few seconds. When we were driving he stopped for a cigarette break while we watched him from the car. On several occasions he lit up a cigarette while driving. My wife was worried on his getting sleepy and make a loud noise to wake him, he wasn’t asleep but head filling forward as sleep wasn’t far off. You need to provide water for the passengers as well as the driver, there was none on board. Again, in one place he stopped to get a drink of water in a village water bubbler. Come on, as a tour group your operation can do better.
