Deze ervaring is opgebouwd rond iets wat de meeste bezoekers van Modena nooit te zien krijgen. Je stapt binnen in een traditionele familie gerunde acetaia in Modena, gesloten voor het publiek, en proeft authentieke balsamico azijn ouder dan 25 jaar, en leert hoe dit “Black Gold” echt wordt gemaakt. Van daaruit verken je Modena door zijn eettradities, ontmoet je lokale verkopers en ontdek je de verhalen achter Parmigiano Reggiano en tigelle. Je loopt door de historische Albinelli-markt met een lokaal perspectief, kijkt verder dan de kraampjes en begrijpt hoe de alledaagse Modenese eetcultuur werkt. Onderweg ontdek je kleine tradities en verrassende lokale gewoontes, zoals gnocco fritto genoten met cappuccino, die de meeste bezoekers nooit opmerken. Met maximaal 8 gasten geniet je van een meer persoonlijke ervaring, met tijd om vragen te stellen en direct in contact te komen met de mensen achter het eten. Dit is Modena van binnenuit, niet alleen wat je proeft, maar waar het vandaan komt en waarom het ertoe doet.

Tijdens onze wandeltocht verkennen we al onze favoriete lokale hoogtepunten van Modena. De vergaderlocatie van onze tour is het prachtige Piazza Grande, naast Piedra Ringadora Het is ideaal om vroeg aan te komen en het Piazza te verkennen voordat de tour begint :)
We stoppen bij de Albinelli-voedselmarkt om te smelten bij de lokale bevolking en om verschillende oude Parmigiano Reggiano-kaas te proeven
In onze tour in Modena passeren we naast de beroemdste toren van de stad, de Ghirlandina

Loredana was a very charming and experienced guide. Lots of tasty food stops and at pretty slow pace on a hot day in Modena. Market, cafe, balsemica shop and a gelati shop. Loredana was very kind and caring for all the people in our group including two small children.
