Door Kalambaka te bereiken, een belangrijke stad die bekend staat vanwege de op een na grootste en belangrijkste complexen van oosters-orthodoxe kloosters in Griekenland na de berg Athos, Meteora, heb je de mogelijkheid om twee of drie van de zes hangende kloosters in de lucht te bezoeken, gebouwd op natuurlijke zandstenen rotspilaren. De Meteora-kloosters dateren uit de 11e eeuw en staan op de UNESCO-lijst van werelderfgoedsites. De James Bond-film alleen voor jouw ogen werd gefilmd in het klooster van de heilige drie-eenheid.
De Thermopylae of anders de Hot Gates is een belangrijke stad die bekend staat om de strijd tussen de Griekse strijdkrachten, waaronder de 300 Spartanen en hun leider, koning Leonidas en de Perzen in 480 voor Christus, herdacht door Simonides in het beroemde grafschrift: "Ga de Spartanen vertellen, vreemdeling die voorbij komt, dat we hier gehoorzaam aan hun wetten liegen. " Het monument van koning Leonidas werd opgericht bij het slagveld en herinnerde ons allemaal aan het offer van die patriotten voor een vrij land.

Airport Pickup : Uw chauffeur zal u opwachten bij aankomst op de internationale luchthaven van Athene - "Eleftherios Venizelos", bij de douane-uitgang, met een H.P. Tours tekenen met je naam op. Haven pick-up : Uw chauffeur zal u ontmoeten bij de Piraeus Port cruiseschip terminal, met een H.P. Tours tekenen met je naam op. Merk op dat de haven van Piraeus drie terminals heeft, Terminal A, B en C. Afhankelijk van de terminal waar uw schip aanmeert, wacht uw chauffeur u op bij de bijbehorende uitgang. (bijvoorbeeld als uw schip aanmeert bij Terminal A, wacht uw chauffeur u op bij de uitgang van Terminal A enz.) Als uw schip aanmeert bij Terminal B of Terminal C en de bijbehorende uitgangspoort is gesloten, moet u de shuttlebus nemen om naar Terminal A te komen (3 MIN RIDE), waar uw chauffeur op u wacht.

Christoff was our private tour guide. He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. He added great depth to the journey because of his personal and professional experience. We had a great day going to Meteora! Our driver Christos was perfect. He was a gentleman, and shared a lot of information. It was like being with a friend! He picked us up promptly, made sure we were comfortable, and took us to an excellent local restaurant for lunch. We will only use HP tours when we return!

Excellent experience. Comfortable transportation and very good service. Jimmy, the driver, really professional and great culture. This was a remarkable day. The photos of the monasteries had prepared us to be awed but being there in person far exceeded our expectations. Our driver was wonderful, professional and friendly. The trip requires a lot of time in the car, but we were comfortable and it was so worth it.

We went as 2 families in a private tour( 10 seater Mercedes) and we did 4 diff private tours from the same company . Hands down one of the best tour experiences I have had . They took us to two Monasteries with great views, and on the way stopped at some local restaurants and shops to buy the famous halwa. They took us to Thermopylea the place where the Sparta war happened and covered extra things. I would recommend them to everyone. Look no further and book with them.
