Geniet van dit 2 uur durende begeleide avontuur op een dubbeldeks powercatamaran om de walvissen in hun natuurlijke habitat te bekijken. Afhankelijk van het gedrag van de walvissen tijdens je walviskijktrip, kun je de walvissen aan de oppervlakte zien slaan met borstvinnen (hun zeer lange zijvinnen), staarten (de staart), de steel (de sterke spieren die de staart aan de rest van het lichaam bevestigen) en de bres, dit is wanneer de walvis volledig uit het water komt en weer naar beneden stort.

Deze dubbeldeks powercatamaran vertrekt vanuit Ma'alaea Harbor en kan u snel naar de walvissen brengen. Sapjes en frisdranken zijn inbegrepen, er zijn allerlei drankjes te koop en er zijn toiletten aan boord. De bultruggen keren elk jaar voor enkele maanden terug naar Hawaï om te paren en te bevallen. De reis neemt je mee om twee uur lang, met een professionele Gids, deze geweldige dieren te zien van december tot april.

Most amazing experience ever! We went at the end of Janurary and the whales were super active. Our tour guide was amazing! I couldn't recommend this excursion more!

We saw multiple cow calf pairs on our trip. A must do experience. Crew was excellent. Might be an issue if you are prone to motion sickness.

It was really great; the crew was very knowledgeable and explained the different whales we were seeing. was able to take us to the exact spots for some great sightings. I would do this tour again; we were at the end of whale season so do recommend doing it earlier in the year to see more whales.

The Quicksilver crew was awesome! Despite it being the last day of the season, they were able to locate and follow a whale to get us a few great glimpses. The captain shared a lot of cool whale facts and the views in between whale sightings were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend and hope we get to join them again one day!

This was a good cruise, everyone had a great time. We went in late April so we didn’t see any whales, we’re told that whale season was over. If you want to see whales on this cruise do it during the season when they are likely to still be in Maui.

We were lucky, although in April there is no guarantee of watching cetaceans we spotted two whales. We arrived at the port of Maalaea where the tour departs, with public buses from the capital of Maui that is from Kahului. A welcome surprise, public buses in Maui for seniors over 65 are completely free upon showing their passports. I think that the organizers of the tour to bring the cetaceans closer to the boat and accommodate the tourists throw something into the sea that attracts them, in fact a whale was circling the boat and I do not think to greet us.

Excellent service. Beautiful views and friendly staff. No whales sighted but they did offer a follow up tour to get another chance. It’s the end of whale season but I appreciate that they offered this. I would definitely book this again.
