Een once-in-a-lifetime is misschien de enige manier om te beschrijven hoe de zon langzaam opkomt boven Haleakala National Park en overgaat op het prachtige eiland Maui. Ervaar zelf de magie met onze Majestic Haleakala Sunrise Tour, een onvergetelijke reis naar de top van de Haleakala-berg. Eenmaal aan de top zullen onze lokale gidsen van Valley Isle Excursions je klaarstomen voor de beste ervaring: ze wijzen op ongelooflijke kijklocaties, delen tips voor het zien van de zonsopgang en vertellen verhalen over de geschiedenis van het eiland. Na zonsopgang maken we een korte rondleiding door de rest van het Haleakala National Park en de nabijgelegen ranchlanden. Geniet van een exclusief ontbijt op het terrein van de Maui Tropical Plantation met 3 opties om uit te kiezen. We halen op bij alle hotels aan de zuid- en westkant. De ophaaltijden van het hotel kunnen variëren, aangezien sommige hotels veel verder weg zijn dan andere. Als u op een locatie verblijft, halen wij niet op wij bieden wel vergaderlocaties aan met gratis parkeergelegenheid. Neem contact op met ons kantoor voor de exacte ophaallocaties en -tijden voor uw hotel en tour. Houd er rekening mee dat we vanwege de steeds veranderende weersomstandigheden op de top onze Sunrise Tour onder verschillende weersomstandigheden kunnen uitvoeren, met uitzondering van sluitingen van het Haleakala National Park

Dreamlike experience. We were picked up at 2.00am from The Whalers Resort. The tour was punctual, they gave us ponchos to keep us warm but suggest you wear warm clothes as it gets to minus one degrees centigrade. Photos will explain our great experience. Munir Daya
The tour guides and breakfast were both amazing. What wasn’t amazing was the fog blocking the sunrise. Check the weather for the day you’re supposed to go and make sure you’ll be able to actually see the sunrise.
We had a great time with Valley Isle on the sunrise at Haleakala tour. Abe and Everett were fantastic guides. Abe also treated us to the Hawaiian sunrise chant/song along with some other guides which was very moving. Breakfast at Cafe O’Lei was delicious and the grounds were beautiful
Truly magical! Wear your layers and enjoy! The tour company was great, we learned a lot about the area. Delicious breakfast at cafe o’lei was a big plus too!
The tour drivers did everything to prepare the group for the experience. Lots of historical knowledge and explanation in general about Hawaii and more specifically Maui. It was early and it was chilly but all was worth it when the sun broke over the high cloud layer. Every experience will be different and I am grateful that we were able to experience the brilliant sunrise on this day. A little nervous at pickup when I was told the driver was waiting for us at the location but were not anywhere to be found....situation resolved itself when the driver showed up 10 minutes later .... Not sure what that hichup was....nobody answers the phone at 2AM local which I understand.

The clouds didn’t comply but we got some pretty photos with color before sunrise. Everett and Justin were great. We loved the history about Maui and Hawaii in general, and I particularly enjoyed the mythology. Recommend!
Highly recommend Valley Isle Excursions! Everett and Justin were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Everything was exceptionally well organized, from the early morning pickup and logistics to the sunrise experience itself. Watching the sunrise at Haleakalā was absolutely unforgettable, and having such a great team made it even better. If you’re visiting Maui, this is an absolute must-do. I can’t recommend Valley Isle Excursions enough!
The weather was terrible and we could not see the sunrise. I know you can not predict the weather…..
It was definitely worth waking up very early in the morning to see the sunrise, it was gorgeous! It was great to have someone who knows how to drive the windy roads to the national park in the cloudy dark. Jeff was kind enough to provide ginger chews in case we got sick, but the drive was smooth and quick. Once we got there, we were provided with fleece ponchos, if you plan on wearing the minimum and not bundling much, do take it. It was very cold with the wind despite being the summer. After sunrise, we headed to breakfast and the food was amazing! Would recommend if you unable to get a reservation, don't want to drive or plan for breaky.
