Maui : Majestueuze Haleakala Sunrise Tour met pick-up

The tour drivers did everything to prepare the group for the experience. Lots of historical knowledge and explanation in general about Hawaii and more specifically Maui. It was early and it was chilly but all was worth it when the sun broke over the high cloud layer. Every experience will be different and I am grateful that we were able to experience the brilliant sunrise on this day. A little nervous at pickup when I was told the driver was waiting for us at the location but were not anywhere to be found....situation resolved itself when the driver showed up 10 minutes later .... Not sure what that hichup was....nobody answers the phone at 2AM local which I understand.

The clouds didn’t comply but we got some pretty photos with color before sunrise. Everett and Justin were great. We loved the history about Maui and Hawaii in general, and I particularly enjoyed the mythology. Recommend!

Highly recommend Valley Isle Excursions! Everett and Justin were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Everything was exceptionally well organized, from the early morning pickup and logistics to the sunrise experience itself. Watching the sunrise at Haleakalā was absolutely unforgettable, and having such a great team made it even better. If you’re visiting Maui, this is an absolute must-do. I can’t recommend Valley Isle Excursions enough!

The weather was terrible and we could not see the sunrise. I know you can not predict the weather…..

It was definitely worth waking up very early in the morning to see the sunrise, it was gorgeous! It was great to have someone who knows how to drive the windy roads to the national park in the cloudy dark. Jeff was kind enough to provide ginger chews in case we got sick, but the drive was smooth and quick. Once we got there, we were provided with fleece ponchos, if you plan on wearing the minimum and not bundling much, do take it. It was very cold with the wind despite being the summer. After sunrise, we headed to breakfast and the food was amazing! Would recommend if you unable to get a reservation, don't want to drive or plan for breaky.

We had a great time on this tour. Our guides were entertaining and fun. The sunrise from Haleakala was amazing and worth getting up way too early.

This is easily one of the top experiences to look out for in Maui, and it did not disappoint. Billy was an amazing host—he made sure everyone was comfortable and shared incredible knowledge about the history, the tour, and what to look out for along the way. The views were absolutely awesome. Our only complaint is that the seats were pretty uncomfortable for such a long drive. Aside from that, Billy was fantastic, and it was a wonderful experience overall!

This was an amazing experience. The weather was perfect and the sunrise view was breathtaking. The driver was very nice and explained all the history about Hawaii. The breakfast at the plantation was really great, the place was beautiful. Overall, all worth it.

Jeff and Justin were fantastic. We had great communication with the tour before about breakfast choices and where to drive to since we were not being picked up at our vrbo. Jeff was a great driver and kept us informed about our travel, what to expect at th site and information about the National Park and Maui. Sunrise was beautiful and the stop down added to feeling we saw this side of Haleakala. Our breakfast tasty and filling. Wonderful added memories to our Maui vacation.
