Bekijk Hawaiiaanse groene zeeschildpadden in hun natuurlijke omgeving tijdens deze gezinsvriendelijke ecotour van 3 uur. Vanuit Makena reis je per kajak naar Turtle Town, peddelend op het kalme, heldere water van Zuid-Maui, voordat je in een beschermd rif duikt en snorkelt naast zeeschildpadden, dolfijnen, roggen, octopussen en palingen. Rondleiding met kleine groepen beperkt tot tien personen.

Might was a great guide and he put us on tons of turtles. If the big water is intimidating or its your first time, Miah is great. He takes his time explaining and is super knowledgeable about Maui and the islands. The dad jokes are bad but lol...you'll have a good time. Enjoy
The experience itself was fun. Before we started Andreas asked who would like photos during the excursion, we told him we would. I was there with my family, two teen girls and my husband. He said it would be $25 a person. We hardly got any photos taken, but I just went with it, tried to enjoy myself. Once we we finished and ready to leave the other customers asked to see the photos before paying and he told them no, that we had to pay upfront and then he would send us photos(that were taken on his phone), no later than 6 pm that day and it was currently around 10am. The day went on and no photos, my husband texted him after 6pm, no response, texted again in the morning, no response. We messaged him about 4 times until he sent a file to us with photos. Andreas sent us 24 total photos and 12 of them were of the other families! 4 of the photos were no good and blurry. First off, 12 photos for $25 a person was not even close to being fair and then to receive photos of other people?! No, not ok. Then knowing I’m receiving other peoples photos leads me to believe he sent photos of my daughters to other families. This is not ok for me and I am very upset. Wearing a swim suit in from of others during an excursion is one thing, but to know now they have permanent photos on file of my daughters in bikinis, is not ok. Also, we saw turtles which was amazing, when I shouted out how cool it was and if he can get a photo of it, he responded with “I’ll just get one from a copy I have, on an old trip, no worries.” We trusted he would be fair and professional when offering to take photos of our family. We didn’t expect him to take money under the table and then send photos of all the families. Very UNHAPPY. Very disappointed because this was our only excursion and then this happened. Don’t purchase photos from the guide on this trip.
A must in Hawaii. I would absolutely recommend this tour. Our guide was great, really knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. Great experience. Don’t hesitate. Book it.
This was a truly wonderful experience for my entire family! Our guide, John, was very helpful, informative, and entertaining as well. Best of all, since not everyone in my family is a strong swimmer, he took the time to put the less strong swimmers at ease and carefully guide them through getting into and out of the kayak and how to snorkel enjoyably! I can't thank him enough for his help, guidance, and for making this an incredibly positive experience for all of us! Thanks again!
We did many fun things while in Maui, but each member of my family said that this trip was one of our favorite activities. John, our guide, was fantastic and made everyone feel comfortable. You can tell he loves what he does and truly appreciates the marine life and environment. Some highlights on the tour include holding an octopus and swimming directly next to countless sea turtles. Definitely recommend this tour!
Had an incredible day and trip to snorkel with the turtles. Andres was super knowledgeable and unbelievably kind and helpful with the littles we were with!
We did not get to experience this activity because of high surf. We were contacted it was cancelled however still waiting on a full refund.
What a wonderful time we had. Not only did we see multiple turtles but also had the pleasure of watching 3 dolphins swim by us. Andres was our guide and he was amazing!
Our family had a great experience kayaking and seeing the turtles. We were able to reschedule to the next day after conditions prevented us from going out the day before. Launching and returning to the beach was so fun even as the surf wasn’t smooth. Andres timed the surf perfectly so all in our group had no problems. Seeing the turtles in their natural habitat is so great. I loved the different types of sea urchins and fish. Yes, you can get in and out of a kayak in the sea without any issue if you are remotely athletic. Suggestion: don’t book your excursion when the tide is incoming, the water will be clearer.
Andres was wonderful and we always felt well taken care of. We got to see so many turtles and pretty fish.
