Geniet van zowel een complete ochtendtour door de stad Christchurch met een lunch als proeverijen bij 3 prachtige wijnhuizen in de Waipara-regio tijdens een excursie aan wal vanuit Lyttelton. Deze tour omvat alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals Mona Vale Gardens, historische gebouwen, botanische tuinen en een spectaculair uitzicht op de zuidelijke Alpen en de vlaktes van Canterbury vanaf het bord van de Takahe. Aan het einde van uw stadstour kunt u genieten van een wijnproeverij bij 3 populaire wijnhuizen in de Waipara-regio.

De standaard starttijd is 8.30 uur of maximaal 1 uur nadat uw schip van boord gaat, afhankelijk van hoe laat uw schip aanmeert.

Vergaderinstructies worden bij boeking toegestuurd. Houd er rekening mee dat de standaardtijd voor deze tour 8.30 uur is, maar dit kan worden gewijzigd afhankelijk van de aankomst- en vertrektijden van uw cruiseschip. Geef tijdens het reserveren eventuele dieetwensen door.

Excellent tour. Small size and buses made the city tour enjoyable. We visited places and routes the larger cruise ship could not go. Great wineries and wine on the wine tour. Only issue for me was 2 wineries before lunch after a small breakfast. Wine on a nearly empty stomach can be an issue.

I recently went on a wine tour that was overall just average. The wines themselves were enjoyable, but each stop was extremely crowded, which made it hard to really appreciate the experience. Our group was consistently placed at the back behind larger groups, so we often felt a bit overlooked. With better scheduling to reduce overlap between groups, the tour could be much more enjoyable. It has potential, but the organization definitely needs improvement.
Great feedback and this is noted. Its certainly tricky navigating between scheduled tours and people and friends who drop into the wineries unannounced without warning. Its super tricky for the wineries to coordinate also. Really appreciate your thoughts.
Was a nice day. We were taken up to the lookout over Christchurch then through the city area with informative commentary about the earthquakes then we made our way out to the wineries with lots of countryside to view.

Started with a driving tour of Christchurch and learned about their devastating earthquake 14 years ago. Enjoyed a stop at a garden along the way. Then visited 3 wineries in the Waipara wine country - enjoyed the beauty of the countryside as well as each of the wineries. Had a nice lunch at the second winery. Our bus held 16 people - nice size and we had good people and a nice driver. This would have been a 5 star trip except for 2 things - one was the stop at the overlook was crammed with way too many people and buses at the same time which made it hard to enjoy and the bathrooms were very limited. The other was our driver had problems with his microphone so I think he didn’t share as many stories as we were driving.

Very fun and informative outing. Our guide, Rob, was quite engaging. We had a nice tour of the city, with several stops. Then, off to the wineries. Really enjoyable!
