Deze tour is ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en waagt zich naar het hart van het natuurreservaat en landschap van Tierra del Fuego, de thuisbasis van de prachtige Emerald Lagoon. De 4 uur durende Ushuaia Esmeralda Lagoon Trek biedt mogelijkheden om schilderachtige landschappen te bewonderen en de lokale flora te observeren. Met een beetje geluk spot je onderweg zelfs vossen, condors en bevers.

'S Ochtends begint ons avontuur met het ophalen van hotels vanaf geselecteerde Ushuaia-locaties, wat het begin markeert van onze spannende reis.
We beginnen aan een minibusreis van ongeveer 20 km om de Tierra Mayor-vallei te bereiken, een knooppunt voor verschillende excursies. Onze bestemming is het Nunatak-toevluchtsoord, gelegen in deze pittoreske vallei. We beginnen onze tocht vanuit de schuilplaats en doorkruisen veenmoerassen, beken en de oude bossen van Lengas en Coihues, waar we de typische vegetatie van de regio laten zien. En als we geluk hebben, kunnen we zelfs lokale dieren in het wild tegenkomen, waaronder vossen, condors en bevers.
We zullen onze tocht voortzetten totdat we de fascinerende Emerald Lagoon bereiken, gelegen in het hart van het natuurreservaat en landschap van Tierra del Fuego. De unieke kleur van het water, samen met de strategische ligging in de Cordillera Fueguina, nodigt ons uit om langs de oevers te pauzeren en het prachtige landschap in u op te nemen. Het is op dit punt dat we onze lunchbox krijgen, zodat we kunnen genieten van onze maaltijd omringd door de natuurlijke schoonheid. Nadat we onze tijd bij de lagune hebben beëindigd, gaan we terug naar het Nunatak-toevluchtsoord, waarbij we een ander pad volgen dan onze oorspronkelijke route. Hierdoor kunnen we de diversiteit van het reservaat verder verkennen en waarderen.
Vanuit de schuilplaats gaan we aan boord van de minibus voor een comfortabele terugkeer naar onze hotels rond 16.00 uur, waarmee onze reis ten einde komt.

Very nice trip with good view of nature. The road is not a difficult but is muddy and need wear high water proof shoes. The guide is professional and friendly.

Quiet walk in the snow and absolutely rewarding. We were lucky to catch snow on the road that made all the difference. Wonderful landscape on the way and when you get to the lagoon the feeling is indescribable. We were offered delicious snack and soup. Our guide Sonia was exceptionally dear and attentive. A fox was waiting for us in the snow! A gift! Immense gratitude to be able to live moments like what we are living. Nice walk

All frozen then is called WHITE LAGUE. It is necessary to put chains of crampons on the shoe. Track average difficulty. It can be done on the ground but I indicate Agencia as it is an isolated place (no cell phone) and the weather can snow or rain without notice. Agency took 2 guides with the group and we had to sign Termo Responsibility, so it's the tip. It's not that simple! Spectacular place and walking through the woods.
Wonderful and challenging walk, with unique landscapes. The best part is when you arrive at the emerald lagoon, which is beautiful, breathtaking. The tour requires trekking shoes and warm, waterproof clothing. Walking time is around 5 hours, so be prepared
The incredible place. Spectacular journey. The bad thing, do not use the purchase route because even though they tell you without taxes, they charge you in dollars, since it is paid in Argentina. That route they offer here is a total scam.

Tour was executed in a timely manner. Our guide Amaya was very knowledgeable and she covered a lot of things while we hike up to the lagoon. We had enough time at lagoon to take pictures and enjoy the beauty. Lagoon is a beautiful spot and a must visit for tourist to Ushuaia.
The walk is beautiful and very well organized. It is difficult for a person who does not play sports, they minimize it but at times you have a hard time if you are not in good physical condition.

One of the places that have impressed me the most, is a small place with many places where you can make excursions either by land hiking or by sea, if you plan to visit Argentina it is worth considering Ushuahia.
