Allereerst bevindt u zich in de wijnmakerij in het thuisland van de wijnbereiding: lokale experts zullen praten over de Kakheti-methode voor het bereiden van wijn (die zelfs is opgenomen in de immateriële erfgoedlijst van UNESCO), over de eigenaardigheden van het Qvevri-apparaat en over de soorten Georgische wijnen. Total disappointment in the tour and guide. The driver guide probably can't use a sat nav, so he couldn't find our hotel for an hour. Rather, the guide was acting as a taxi driver, there was no question of some elaborate excursion program with a qualified guide, as stated in the tour description. Virtually all the way, the taxi guide was silent and did not share information about the region. We were basically on our own. Driving style was questionable, sometimes scary for life. We never reached Telavi, for some reason, we were taken back to Tbilisi. It feels like we're just making money and slipping someone in to keep that money. I strongly advise against contacting this agency.

Had a fantastic time. Nino was an amazing tour guide who was very informative. We were the only English people on the trip and she made sure we knew what was happening the entire time. Highly recommended
