Verken de wijnproducerende regio van Georgië, Kakheti. Ontdek Sighnaghi, de betoverende stad van de liefde, met zijn prachtige Alazani-vallei. Proef Georgische wijn, zoals geen enkele andere wijn ter wereld. Je eerste stop is het dorp Badiauri, waar gasten van harte welkom zijn om een lokale bakkerij te zien en heerlijk Georgisch brood en kaas te proeven. De tweede halte is het Bodbe-klooster. Volgens de legende is het gebouwd op de begraafplaats van Sint Nino. De site is erg spiritueel en heeft indrukwekkende uitzichten voor het maken van prachtige foto's. Ga dan naar Sighnaghi, bekend als The City of Love. Je maakt een wandeltocht in Sighnaghin en ontdekt "De Grote Muur van Georgië." Daarna bezoeken we Telavi, de hoofdstad van Kakheti, waar je je wensen kunt kenbaar maken met een 900 jaar oude chadar. We zullen verschillende soorten wijn en chacha proeven in de kelder En we zullen met aangename indrukken terugkeren naar Tbilisi

Het klooster van St. Nino in Bodbe is een Georgisch-orthodox kloostercomplex en de zetel van de bisschoppen van Bodbe, op 2 km van de stad Sighnaghi, Kakheti, Georgië. Oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de 9e eeuw, is het aanzienlijk gerenoveerd, vooral in de 17e eeuw
Sighnaghi is een van de kleinste steden van Georgië, sighnaghi is een populaire toeristische bestemming vanwege de ligging in het hart van de wijnbouwgebieden van Georgië, evenals de pittoreske landschappen, pastelkleurige huizen en smalle straatjes. Sighnaghi ligt op een steile heuvel en kijkt uit over de uitgestrekte Alazani-vallei, met de bergen van de Kaukasus op afstand zichtbaar. We zullen de grootste muur in Georgië beklimmen
Telavi is hoofdstad van Kakheti , We bezoeken een 900 jaar oude boom, Vanwaar we het paleis van Koning Erekle zien, dat populair is onder toeristen.
We gaan naar het wijnhuis waar we de wijn gratis zullen proeven en lunchen met uitzicht op het Kaukasusgebergte (prijs is niet inbegrepen).
Gombori is een prachtig berggebied dat bekend staat om zijn adembenemende landschappen en rijke biodiversiteit. Het is populair voor wandel- en natuurwandelingen en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht en een serene ontsnapping aan het stadsleven. Ideaal voor avonturiers en natuurliefhebbers!
Ujarma is een oud fort gelegen in de buurt van Telavi, bekend om zijn strategische positie en historische betekenis. Verken de indrukwekkende ruïnes, waaronder overblijfselen van kerken en vestingwerken, terwijl u geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op het omliggende landschap. We loved the experience, the tastings and the knowledge that George imparted onto us about the history and culture. I learned so much in this one trip than i did in the 5 days i had been in Tbilisi. George is very passionate about his work and about Sarkatvelo. We did not feel rushed and he let us tke our time to immerse ourselves in the moment.
Levani & Kaxa are really top sellers. Together they organized a nice, safe and substantive tour through Kakheti for us. Nice clear day trip, maae more wine is always nice!

Our tour guide, Vaxo is a cool and friendly guy. He displayed a high sense of dedication and established an excellent rapport with his guests. His knowledge of Georgian history and his excellent command of both Russian and English languages made communication fluid. His willingness and availability to answer any questions were much appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was an amazing trip about the history of georgia becoming a Christian country. In addition to wonderful locations and beautiful scenery throughout the whole trip. The driver Lari is a professional one full of faith and the tour guide Zura is full of information and an amazing person. For sure I will recommend this trip to my friends. Thank you for the day!!
I booked this particular tour at $17 despite it being charging more than others (some others charged $12 or $14 per pax), largely influenced by the fact that it stated clearly that it offered WIFI onboard the van. However, to my great disappointment, the van that I was assigned to seemed much older than the other vans at the same starting point and to my horror, it did not provide any WIFI nor any working power output to charge my mobile phone. It was very stressful because the trip would last almost half a day and these days, mobile phone batteries do not last that long especially when it is used for taking photos and videos. Our guide, Levani, was friendly and helpful though, explained more in Russian language and occasionally forget to repeat in English unless he was asked. The driver Umari was excellent and also friendly. Even though I had arrived at the starting point half an hour before 9 am, the tour started quite late and also ended late, which was rather inconvenient. Otherwise, the tour had covered all the main places and activities as stated in the itinerary.
Really nice day trip to Bodbe, Sighnaghi, and Telavi. Our guide, Vahtang, did a good job and everything went smoothly. The wine tasting was enjoyable. Solid experience overall.
