Het legendarische eiland Homerus en Odysseus is een must-bestemming. Onze eerste stop is in de hoofdstad Vathi, u zult de nostalgische sfeer voelen, musea bezoeken en genieten van koffie of winkelen in de steegjes en achterstraten van een traditionele Ionische stad. We gaan verder naar onze zwemstop op het strand van Gidaki, dat alleen per boot bereikbaar is! Zwem in het kristalheldere water! Onze laatste stop van de dag is in het pittoreske dorpje Kioni dat bekend staat om zijn charmante tavernes aan zee en nog veel meer!

Gidaki Beach is een afgelegen, boottoegankelijk paradijs op Ithaca, bekend om zijn **kristalheldere turquoise water, dramatische kliffen en rustige, ongerepte omgeving ** - perfect om te zwemmen en te genieten van natuurlijke schoonheid.
Het dorp Vathi is het grootste dorp van Ithaca en is sinds de 16e eeuw de hoofdstad en belangrijkste haven van het eiland. Hier kun je winkelen op de lokale markt of ontspannen naast de zijkant met je koffie & snack
Kioni dorp is het pittoreske traditionele dorp Ithaca. Het is amfitheater gebouwd op de hellingen van een berg, met witte huisjes met pannendaken en een lieflijk haventje waar kleine vissersbootjes stilletjes aanmeren.
Filiatro Beach op Ithaca is een verborgen kustpareltje met kalm, turquoise water en een rustige, zanderige kustlijn, waardoor het een ideale zwemstop is om te ontspannen, te verfrissen en te genieten van de serene Ionische omgeving.

Booked to go on the Ithaca cruise. It was exceeded our expectations. Communications were clear and started by us receiving a text confirming time and place to meet (8am). We travelled from Lassi to Agia Effimia by mini bus. It was modern, clean and the driver was polite and careful. Arrived at the marina with time for a coffee then onto the boat. The cruise took a whopping 9 hrs travelling around the island. There were 4 stops which included an hour and half for lunch and two beautiful swims lasting 40 mins each. Then back home to Lassi for 6.30pm. A perfect day. The only improvement we would suggest is that we could have been treated to a number of short Greek stories to inform us about the history and mythology of Greece and the island. But overall, outstanding.
