Verken het romantische Isle of Skye tijdens een dagtrip vanuit Inverness. U neemt het spectaculaire landschap van de Hooglanden in u op en passeert Loch Ness en de ruïnes van Eilean Donan Castle voordat u Skye bereikt, waar knoestige bergtoppen en heuvels bedekt met paarse heide worden omlijst door zachte zandstranden. Geniet van een lunch in Portree en wandelingen rond de prachtige haven. Voordat u terugkeert naar Inverness, passeert u het prachtige kleine eiland Eilean Ban.

Onze reis vanuit Inverness volgt de oevers van Loch Ness - pas op voor "Nessie"
Een korte stop hier om te genieten van de watervallen en bewonder de oude brug - ontworpen door Thomas Telford.
Voordat we de brug naar Skye oversteken, stoppen we bij Eilean Donan Castle, een van de meest pittoreske kastelen in Schotland. Er zal tijd zijn om die belangrijke foto te maken!
Onze lunchstop is in de charmante eilandhoofdstad Portree. Waarom niet genieten van traditionele fish and chips aan de haven - kijk uit voor meeuwen
Er is hier een prachtig uitzichtpunt met een geweldig uitzicht over de waterval en de kliffen. Je krijgt ook een geweldig uitzicht op de oude man van Storr
Bewonder deze prachtige bergen bij aankomst op het eiland Skye.
Een snelle fotostop bij de oude Sligachan-brug. Je chauffeur / gids zal je betoveren met verhalen over de betoverde wateren.
Op de terugweg naar Inverness reist u langs de oevers van Loch Carron en door het kleine dorpje Strathcarron aan de kop van het Loch.

Tabbie is a wonderful tour guide that kept us on time and educated us on the isle of Skye. We had a fantastic time.
Tabbie was terrific. Good history lessons with humor. However the tour was too long at fairy pools and not enough time in Portree. Stop thinking ANYONE wants to walk the entire Fairy Pool walkway. Give folks the time to see more of the town. Tabbie’s enthusiasm made the long tour very enjoyable and her stories were outstanding!! Watch out for when those giants wake up!!😳

The main stop of the "Day tour to Isle of Skye and Fairy Pools from Inverness" is indeed the pools and waterfalls, and we give people the time needed to walk to the main pools and back. For a tour that doesn't focus on the Fairy Pools, I would recommend our Isle of Skye day trip. Our guide Tabbie was fantastic! She was funny, knowledgeable, and entertaining, sharing fun facts about every place we passed. The views were breathtaking. So much so that I would have enjoyed some longer stops in a few areas (specifically in the Trotternish area), but of course, there is a schedule to follow and it is impossible to see everything in just a single tour. Other than that, I really enjoyed this tour and I highly recommend it.

Amazing experience and day visiting the Isle of Skye with Tabbie as our guide. Even when relatively new, she did an amazing job swinging out facts after facts along the road and on the different stop-points. Such a good personality and vibe. Worth every penny on this trip. Perfect size of the mini van/bus as well. She did so good at navigating the roads, and great parking skills 😎 10/10 from here, from your Danish neighbour

My seven-year-old son and I had an excellent day. The tour was neatly organized with plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful sceneries. The lovely weather and our super nice guide, Tabby, made our day even better.
