Doe mee met mijn gedetailleerde Joodse Tour en leer over de ontroerende geschiedenis van de Berlijnse Joodse gemeenschap. Ik ben een van de langst werkende en meest ervaren Joodse Berlijnse gidsen. Al in 1987 kwam ik hier wonen als alumni van de film- en televisieschool aan de universiteit van Tel Aviv. 20 jaar geleden begon ik met het begeleiden en hield het persoonlijke contact terwijl ik zeer professioneel werd over de Joodse geschiedenis. Ik ken elke straat en elk gebouw in de joodse wijk en ik heb gedetailleerde historische en culturele kennis voor allemaal en daarbovenop ook veel ingewikkelde verhalen over individuen die in Berlijn woonden. Routebeschrijving: Holocaust Memorial, Wilhelmstreet en de plaats waar de bunker van Hitler was, Memorial to the Burning of the Books, de Joodse wijk met de "Nieuwe Synagoge", Deportation Memorial in de Grosse Hamburgerstrasse, de oudste Joodse Begraafplaats met Mendelssohn Memorial, Joods Middelbare school, Rosenstrae Memorial

Met 3200 zitplaatsen was dit de grootste en mooiste synagoge in Duitsland. De tentoonstelling in de overblijfselen van de synagoge vertelt het verhaal van de Joodse gemeenschap en haar tragische einde.
Herdenk de vermoorde Joden Europa in het enorme veld van stèles in het midden van de stad Berlijn.
Een gedenkteken op de Bebelplatz, de authentieke plaats van het boek dat op 10 mei 1933 brandde.
Hier lagen de leden van de joodse gemeenschap begraven vanaf 1672, onder hen, Moses Mendelssohn, de filosoof en de Verlichting, tot de vernietiging door de Gestapo in 1943.

We visited the synagogue, and found a neglected and partly ruined place. they admission fee ' and more for the audio for practicly nothing. And i find it very sad to mention the the toilet is one of the dirty toilet i have ever been to. DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!
This was a great tour. Nirit was a terrific guide!!!. We learned and saw so much. Recommend you do this if you can. You won’t be sorry
Sharon guided us through Berlin Jewish life from the 1600's into early 20th century. She gave us insights into daily life which paralleled Jewish life in NYC. She was personable and patient, answering all questions deftly..WAt the conclusion, we coul easily understand the gradual transitions which had occurred.
The day we spent with Nirit was without question the highlight of our visit to Berlin. Our tour was a mix of the Jewish tour as well as Berlin both during and after the Berlin wall came down. Nirit's expertise on the history of Berlin was extraordinary. Nirit planned the day to make it more meaningful to us based on our personal connection to the historical events related to the holocaust. It was a pleasure to spend time with her. My wife and I spent 6 nights in Berlin last October. We wanted to do both a “secular” private tour of Berlin and environs (including Potsdam), as well as a Jewish oriented private tour.
