Deze wandeltocht van een halve dag langs verschillende UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocaties in Beijing, moet erfgoedattracties in Beijing zien. Begin met een kijkje op de monumenten van het Tiananmen-plein en bezoek vervolgens het immense Verboden Stad-complex met uw deskundige Gids. We kunnen u helpen om vooraf een Verboden Stad-ticket te kopen als u het 7 dagen van tevoren boekt.

Opgehaald door onze Gids in uw hotel tussen 8u en 13u of ontmoet de Gids bij het verzamelpunt om 7u:40 of 13u en ga dan naar het Tiananmenplein, het grootste openbare plein van deze soort ter wereld. Gelegen in het hart van Beijing City, is het de site voor massale parades en rally's. Dit was de site toen in 1949, vanaf een rostrum op Tiananmen (de Poort van de Hemelse Vrede), voorzitter Mao de oprichting van de Volksrepubliek China uitriep. Om veiligheidsredenen is het Tiananmenplein een omheind plein omringd door lage ijzeren roosters met de belangrijkste vier ingangen - oost, west, zuid en noord. Het plein is nu open voor het publiek tot zonsondergang, maar alle toeristen moeten door een veiligheidscontrole voordat ze het plein betreden. Er zijn dus controleposten opgezet bij alle ingangen die naar het plein leiden.
Kijk eens naar de buitenkant van de Memorial Hall van Chairman Mao, het Monument voor de Volkshelden, de prachtige Grote Hal van het Volk, het Nationaal Museum van China, de oude Zhengyang-poort en de Arrow Tower en de Tiananmen-toren die naar de bekende Verboden Stad.
Ga vervolgens naar het keizerlijk paleis, ook bekend als de "Verboden Stad", de grootste en best bewaarde oude keizerlijke paleistroep met 500 jaar geschiedenis. We zullen van tevoren kaart kopen om de rij over te slaan. Het paleis werd gebouwd tussen 1406 en 1420, maar werd ontelbare keren afgebrand, herbouwd, ontslagen en gerenoveerd, dus de meeste architectuur die je vandaag kunt zien dateert van 1700 en later. Je krijgt een hoogtepuntentour door de Verboden Stad. Daarna beëindigt u de tour aan de noordelijke uitgang van de Verboden Stad. Aarzel niet om de gids te vragen om u te helpen om een taxi of bus naar uw volgende bestemming te krijgen. Opmerking: op de dag van de reis is een geldig paspoort vereist.

Ontmoet de groep in Grand Hotel Beijing (北京贵宾楼饭店). Wij bieden geen ophaalservice van andere hotels voor deze optie. Maak uw eigen manier om Grand Hotel Beijing(北京贵宾楼饭店) Ontmoetingstijd: 7 : 40 uur. Zorg dat je 5 minuten eerder aanwezig bent. Met de taxi: 35 East Chang'an Avenue, Dongcheng District, Beijing 中国北京市东城区东长安街35号 Met de metro : lijn 1 / 8 → Wangfujing Station uitgang : C (Zuidwest) Loop 3 minuten naar het westen.

Execellent half day trip to these amazing sites. Jeffrey is a very knowledgeble and experienced guide and planned very well the visiting of the famous landmarks despite the busy times . It was a very informative and pleasant trip and I enjoyed it very much!

Fantastic trip for the day. We chose this as our day 1 trip to get up and used to the time change after a long flight. Lucy was amazing as she kept our group together and taught us about the history of the forbidden city as well as recent discoveries. She had a good sense of humour as well which made the trip even more fun. I would recommend this trip if you wish to learn about the history of the forbidden city but to also stretch your legs and get moving for the day.

Thorough and excellent forbidden city tour, however we only drove past the Tianmen square and did not enter as expected, which was a little disappointing. We were told this is due to significant lines at the square to enter. We will have to book a trip to the square soon.
