Een meer betaalbare optie voor onze vaak uitverkochte zonsopgang tour, de Pre-Dawn tour biedt dezelfde prachtige kleuren van de zonsopgang vanaf de buitenkant van Haleakala National Park. U zult genieten van dezelfde fietstocht vanaf de 6.500 'voet niveau helemaal naar beneden naar Paia.

Vertelde tour door de schilderachtige stadjes Makawao en Kula, verder de hellingen van Haleakala Ranch op, waar u de kleuren van vóór zonsopgang kunt zien voordat u aan uw fietstocht begint.
Het fietsgedeelte van de tour begint op het 6500 voet niveau van Haleakala. Je fietst door de 29 ingrijpende bochten terwijl je het prachtige uitzicht op het eiland bekijkt.
Op de hellingen van Haleakala Ranch op 2000 meter hoogte begint je opwindende fietstocht via 29 haarspeldbochten. Terwijl je twee keer naar beneden rijdt, kun je prachtige uitzichten over de twee kusten zien.
Makawao, gelegen op de middelste hellingen van de Haleakala-vulkaan in Maui, heeft een voet in het plantageverleden en een andere in zijn bloeiende kunstgemeenschap. Deze charmante stad werd ooit uitgeroepen tot een van de top 25 kunstbestemmingen in de Verenigde Staten. Makawao is het grootste stadje in de regio die plaatselijk bekend staat als Upcountry Maui en staat bekend om zijn Hawaiiaanse cowboys, of paniolo. Sinds het einde van de 19e eeuw hebben paardrijdende paniolo's vee geruzied in de wijd open hooglandvelden van Maui. De Makawao Rodeo, die jaarlijks op 4 juli wordt gehouden, is de grootste paniolowedstrijd van Hawaï en is al meer dan 50 jaar een traditie in het hoogland. Great experience!!! We enjoyed the variety of terrain and especially the views!! Joe & Nani are full of knowledge & information about the area. We loved our breakfast stop Makawao too! Overall it was a 10/10 experience!

Good fun morning out. Fun guides who were there to make sure you enjoyed yourself. Bikes look ropey but turn out to be way faster (more fun!!) than the fancy looking bikes that other operators are using.

Itinerary improved from the listing. Left a little less early in AM to see the sunrise, then started the bike ride lower on the volcano (fewer tough switchbacks) as practice, then took us back for a second ride down to enjoy the spectacular views. Fantastic Family Fun - Wonderful!

Joe and Naani were so awesome and kind. Safety was paramount and they were very understanding when my daughter was nervous and just starting the ride. They took the time to speak with her and make sure she was comfortable. And on the other end of the spectrum, they also ensured that my son was able to race down the hill at his own pace with no limitations since he is a more avid rider. Coolest part, getting to do the ride twice! Highly recommend!

Tour guides were very accommodating and flexible to riders needs. We did the primo, up and down top portion three times because of the rain below. We got a little wet, but didn’t care because we were having so much fun. Light layers and light rain gear helped.

Fabulous excursion, operators week were amazing as focused on safety but also allowed for some independence. Great ride, breakfast stop a local bakery and cafes, hen another element of the ride back to where you started.
