We zullen echter de rest van het monumentale complex bezichtigen: Tuinen, Generalife, Alcazaba, Palacio del Partal en Palacio de Carlos V. Verken het imposante Alcazaba met een panoramisch uitzicht over Granada. We bezoeken het militaire gedeelte met uitleg over de verdedigingsstructuur van de palatinestad Alhambra, we gaan naar de Torre de la Vela om te genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht op Granada, Albaicín en Vega de Granada, en leggen de functie uit die de toren had en wat het gebeurt met de christelijke verovering. We bezoeken de Jardín de los Adarves en de Puerta de las Armas.
We bezoeken het 16e-eeuwse gebouw met uitleg over de gevels en de grote binnenplaats, uitleg over de constructie, symbolen en we geven de locatie van de musea aan.
De openbare ruimte van het Alhambra is bedekt, met uitleg over de structuur van de stad, commentaar op christelijke aanpassingen zoals de kerk van Santa María de la Alhambra en het klooster van San Francisco, momenteel omgebouwd tot een nationale herberg die de begraafplaats was van koningin Elizabeth. We bezoeken het gebied van het droge land waar de ruïnes van het Palacio de los Abencerrajes zich bevinden, een zeer vooraanstaande familie van het Nasrid-hof en het gebied van de Medina waar we ruïnes zullen zien van de werkplaatsen en ovens die ze gebruikt om de decoraties te bouwen.

Highly recommended, an incredible visit, and above all the Palace of Charles V. What really surprised us was the tasting of the dishes; it was a spectacular meal!!!

A very good experience. We were running a bit short on time and they called us to help us out. In addition to being a beautiful place, the guide, with her explanations, managed to make us admire all the details and the history of the place. A wonderful place to be able to visit at least once in a lifetime

It was a fantastic visit with an exceptional guide, Daniel. A broad historical tour not lacking in anecdotes, legends, and humor. It lasts 3 hours, but it is worth it to get to know a place like the Alhambra in depth. It is hot in August, but there are many stops that allow you to take a break surrounded by vegetation. We went with two girls aged 8 and 10, and they made it through the whole tour, although naturally, at times, they were tired.

This does not actually include the palaces. We ended up having to go back and get a second ticket for the palaces that was much later in the day. The original trip that I wanted to buy was sold out and trip advisor recommended this one to me so I thought it would be the same but it does not include the palaces. The guide was okay she was much more knowledgeable about the plants and she gave very basic history information, but nothing about the buildings themselves per se or any of the symbolism built into the buildings or their reasons for things being built a certain way.

Because access to the palaces is strictly limited, we strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible to guarantee the full tour. We are also sorry to hear that the guide's presentation didn't fully meet your expectations regarding the architecture and symbolism of the buildings. We take your observations seriously and will use them to continue improving our tours.
Our time of visit was changed by the agency a couple of days prior to our arrival. The information abt the tour in the website is not very clear, during the tour the guide seemed knowledgable but when asked a question the guide reaction was not very kind, he replied as if you are an idiot.
