Tijdens deze 13-14-uur durende tour neemt je meertalige gids je mee naar de Shaki-waterval om de adembenemende natuur te bewonderen en onvergetelijke foto's te maken. Na de lunchstop ga je naar het beroemde Tatev-klooster en keer je terug op de vleugels van de Tatev-kabelbaan, de langste kabelbaan ter wereld. De laatste stop is de wijnfabriek Hin Areni voor de rondleiding en proeverij inclusief wat snacks.

Vayots Dzor en Areni dorp in het bijzonder is de bakermat van de Armeense wijnbereiding voor millennia. "Hin Areni" wijnfabriek opent de deuren van deze regio naar de wereld om de historische en inheemse Armeense druivensoorten te laten zien. Bij de wijnmakerij worden de historische tradities van het wijnmaken goed gecombineerd met state-of-the-art moderne apparatuur. Wijnfabriek "Hin Areni" heeft de capaciteit om meer dan 250 ton druiven te verwerken.
Shaki waterval ligt in het zuidelijke deel van Armenië, dicht bij Sisian. De herfst, gelegen in een van de gezelligste en mooiste hoeken van Syunik, opent glorieus zijn opvallende schoonheid voor alle bewonderaars. De lucht hier is vol inspirerende melodie van water en geur van bergen, het laden van al hun golven.
Op 16 oktober 2010 luidden de kerkklokken in Tatev de aankondiging van de lancering van een programma om een middeleeuws kloostercomplex nieuw leven in te blazen en de opening van "Wings of Tatev" Ropeway. De 5,7 km lange touwbaan, die binnen 11 maanden is aangelegd, loopt door een diepe kloof van de rivier de Vorotan en over heuvels, bedekt met weelderige bossen. De tram wordt ondersteund door drie torens tussen de twee terminals. Een terminal ligt op een heuvel, met uitzicht op het dorp Halidzor en de andere ligt in de buurt van Tatev Klooster, op de weg naar Tatev dorp. Twee hutten werken tegelijk en rijden in tegengestelde richting. Er zijn in totaal 6 kabels (3 voor elke hut), elk uniek voorzien voor de specificaties van dit project. Binnen ongeveer 11 minuten brengt een tram hut passagiers, 30 per keer, van het dorp Halidzor naar het prachtige complex van Tatev. "Wings of Tatev" is 's werelds langste omkeerbare luchttram, officieel erkend door het Guinness World Records.
Onder de architectonische pijlers van Zangezour heeft het klooster van Tatev zijn "rivalen" niet. Het was vroeger het rijkste middeleeuwse klooster in Armenië. Naast een religieus centrum was Tatev ook het belangrijke strategische centrum van Syunik koninkrijk. Het Tatev klooster ligt op een natuurlijk verdedigde plek en is altijd een onneembare vesting geweest voor aliens. In onstabiele politieke omstandigheden leidden verschillende geheime wegen op het grondgebied van de vesting naar de canyon en dienden als verbinding tussen het klooster en de buitenwereld.

The tour guide Gayane and the driver Aro where amazing and Gayane was great and full of knowledge. By this point it was our4th tour and this was the only one that took the time to go over the history of certain areas we drove through and stopped at. Only thing I didn't like was the "winery tour" you walk into the area where the tanks are stored and the briefly talk about the history and that's it is over. The lunch though was amazing it was a nice cozy place and the food was soooo good the seasoning on the meats was on point and the owner was awesome and super friendly. I'll def be booking with Gayane and Aro again!

All tours with Hyur are good and well organized. This specific tour takes you to visit Shaki falls, which are interesting, Tatev, which is fantastic and a Hin Areni winery. However, as Tatev is far away from Yerevan it is a very long tour. Several tours go to Tatev, maybe there is a shorter one (not sure) Our guide Marina was very good and accommodating to our needs.

Everything was great. It's a long road, but it's worth it. Scenic road, amazing places. I recommend you take chicken when you stop for lunch. I would really like more free time in Tatev itself. Driver Karen drove the bus carefully. Guide Edward was energetic throughout the tour.

This was my second Hyur Service tour and this one delivered just as good as the first one. The sites at the waterfall were breathtaking and it was like a mini adventure because we walked through a trail to get to the waterfall. The Tatev monasteries are also beautiful, and still standing from a long time ago. Our tour guide Eduard and driver Karen were also amazing. Eduard spoke Russian and English so all of the people could understand. He also told us many interesting stories and facts along the way about the places we were going. And Karen was very skillful and got us to all of our stops safely. Overall, another amazing experience from Hyur Service.

A wonderful trip to southern Armenia. It was interesting to see the winery and taste the local wine. The Shaki Waterfall was a pleasant surprise and evoked a wonderful feeling. HyurService is a very professional tour operator. Everything goes seamlessly according to the program. Although the Tatev Monastery/Areni Wine/ Shaki Waterfall tour takes around 14 hours but our friendly guide Karen filled it with extensive explanations. He even chanted an Armenian psalm at Tatev which was highly appreciated. The only setback of the tour was the bumpy roads but the driver (another Karen) did his best to evade the potholes.
