Boek dit paardrijavontuur van 2 uur en ontdek het platteland van Granada. Rijd op een elegant lokaal paardenras terwijl je je een weg baant door panoramische landschappen terwijl je gids je een overzicht geeft van de regio en tradities. Deze tour is perfect voor natuurliefhebbers, avonturiers maar ook voor beginners. Het is een gezinsvriendelijke activiteit en geeft je een goed inzicht in de Spaanse cultuur en haar beroemde hippische tradities. Enkele hoogtepunten zijn: - Rijd in de uitlopers van de majestueuze bergen van de Sierra Nevada - Probeer het prachtige Andalusische ras - Bezoek een door een familie gerunde Andalusische paardenranch en maak kennis met de lokale bevolking - Geniet van een dagje uit op het Spaanse platteland Houd er rekening mee dat we naar verschillende ranches gaan en dat de duur van de rit soms in het weekend en op sommige feestdagen slechts 1 uur kan zijn. In dit geval wordt u hiervan op de hoogte gesteld en vindt er een restitutie van 15 euro pp plaats. Afhankelijk van naar welke ranch we gaan, berekenen we in totaal ongeveer 1-2 uur heen en terug van de ranch.

Ontmoet een chauffeur die je naar de ranch brengt aan de voet van de Sierra Nevada, op slechts 20 minuten van het centrum van Granada. Ontmoet de rancheigenaren en rijd op Spaanse paarden. Rijd in de voet van de majestueuze Sierra Nevada-bergen. Probeer het prachtige Andalusische ras. Bezoek een Andalusische paardenranch die door een familie wordt gerund. Meng je onder de lokale bevolking en deel hun passie: paarden. Geniet van een dagje uit op het Spaanse platteland.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Het kan zijn dat we u niet op uw exacte adres kunnen ophalen en een ontmoetingspunt kunnen afspreken. Je kunt zelf naar de ranch gaan. Als u een transfer nodig heeft laat het ons weten en wij kunnen een retour transfer voor u regelen. dit is niet inbegrepen en u moet betalen voor dat aan de chauffeur. Vraag het ons eerst.

- Als er kinderen in de boeking zijn, geef dan de leeftijd van het kind aan. Minimum leeftijd is 9 jaar. Voor kinderen tot 16 jaar moeten we hun leeftijd weten.
- Tours kunnen worden opgewaardeerd naar een privérit met een toeslag
- Als u erg zwaar bent en niet over een bepaalde fysieke conditie beschikt, kunnen we u mogelijk niet laten rijden en vindt er geen restitutie plaats.
- We kunnen je misschien een transfer aanbieden. In dit geval kost het 65 - 90 euro voor beide kanten op voor de dichtstbijzijnde ranch en 90 euro voor de andere ranch. Vraag het ons eerst.
- Aanbevolen om een lange broek en gesloten schoenen te dragen
- U kunt met de taxi/Uber en Cabify gaan. Wacht 30-60 minuten om de ranch te bereiken en evenveel tijd om terug te keren.
- In het weekend en op sommige feestdagen kan de duur van de rit soms slechts 1 uur bedragen. Er wordt een restitutie van 15 euro pp uitgevoerd.
- Voor groepen tot 3 personen kunt u kiezen uit 2 ranches. De ene ligt op 30 minuten afstand en de andere op 45-60 minuten. Deze laatste biedt privé- of semi-privéritten.

The horse riding itself was enjoyable, and the warmth and hospitality of the ranch owners made the experience memorable. However, the activity was rescheduled several times, and communication about the pickup and start time was unclear. The ride was also reduced from 2 hours to 1 hour due to the heat, but only a 23% refund was offered, which didn’t feel proportionate. Better communication and a fairer refund policy would have made for a much better experience.
Thank you for your feedback — we're very glad your family enjoyed the ride, though we're surprised by this review given your message thanking us for making the changes and saying your family who did the tour loved it. You originally booked a small group tour. When changes came up, we asked whether a one-hour sunset ride with some refund would work for you, and you agreed to the schedule, duration, and refund in writing. We also upgraded you from a group tour to a private sunset tour at no extra cost and arranged a private driver for you too. A few hours before the 9pm tour, you contacted the driver to cancel, and we then received repeated calls from you and your son asking to cancel, which wasn't possible at that stage. When we spoke, we explained that sunset was in fact the best hour for the ride. At midnight, after the tour, you wrote to us thanking us for the change, telling us the tour was amazing, and sharing your son's message saying the same — and asked us for photos and videos. We believe agreements made in writing should be honored, not renegotiated hours before a tour. We'd also suggest keeping late-night and weekend calls to a minimum, out of respect for the local providers making these authentic experiences possible for you. We wish you all the best.
I really enjoyed the activity and felt really comfortable with our guide Lucia (I think her name was). I felt well connected with the horse I was given and felt like I was in a movie. Lucia answered any questions I had. My husband didn’t enjoy it as much, but he isn’t as much of a fan of horses. I would definitely book again.
The hospitality shown to us at the Ranch was above & beyond . What an adventure for our love story! The horses were so noble & friendly to us : Kratos & Wetu . Riding up into the Sierra Nevada was exhilarating ,so beautiful! The conversation with our guide Carlos flowed as he pointed out the facts about our horses, the breed & ranch life -answering all our questions.It was immersive , interactive and we’ll never forget it .Thank you,Don Carlos!

Round trip was organized and worked great. The riding instructor was very friendly and helpful. The area of the tour is very nice.
Sebastian, the driver picked us up at our hotel in central Granada at 3pm. It was around an hour drive, with 20min or so off road to the ranch. Winding roads, so if you get car sick, don’t forget to take motion sickness tablets! Carlos, the owner of Mountain Horse Ranch greeted us and introduced us to the horses we would be riding. We spent a little time grooming them, before they were saddled and taken to a small fenced enclosure where we were taught to handle our horse. We then set off for a horseback ride which lasted around 1.5hrs in the Sierra Nevada. It was an incredible experience, the horses were soo well trained and behaved. Carlos was a great teacher and guide, not to mention a renowned horse whisperer. I would wholeheartedly recommend him!! You won’t be disappointed. On the ride back, Sebastian kindly stopped to show us the Dam. Also recommend him! He is a very good driver and very knowledgeable of the area. It was a perfect way to end our trip. Thank you both!!
This was truly one of the highlights of our trips to Spain. I did this with my 21 year old son. We loved the scenery and nature of Sierra Nevada, beautiful views and aromas that you can’t enjoy from the car. The owner of the farm Carlos is a known hose trainer-psychologyst, his wife Olivia and partner came with us and between the two of them we felt comfortable and relaxed. They are warm and very kind, they genuinely cared about our safety. They let my son take off his helmet only for 30 seconds to take a picture:) Their horses were culm and friendly. We both really this!
The hostess was sweet and kind and the horses purely adorable, they were well treated and loved. It showed. The scenery was beautiful with the mountains and vegetation , I really loved it! ❤️
The horseback riding excursion was awesome! The horses were amazing and my guide, Carlos, was great. We talked all about the countryside, the Andalusion horses and Granada. 5-star experience! Highly recommend.
All round amazing experience. It was the highlight of our trip. Carlos and Lydia were exceptional guides. The horses were well trained, gentle and we felt comfortable on them. The saddles are works of art created by the family that owns the horses. Sebastian, our driver, got us to the location and was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
