Loved the places we visited! Monica did a great job showing us Italy! Highly recommend! We had a wonderful day. Very organized!
THE CHECK-IN PROCESS WAS QUICK AND EASY. EMILY TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF MY NEEDS AND WAS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMAND THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY IF YOU ARE EVER IN ATLANTIC CITY FOR SURE.
Great resort. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Staff at the pool were excellent. George and Alysia were very professional. All in all with the few issues great place to stay as a hotel owner.
We was very disappointed… promised luxurious travel .. complete lies , was travelling in a over loaded van with more people than aloud. No one spoke English properly. Was promised on inventory a 1/2 hour cruise on Nile, but they wanted extra £10 each x6 No water supplied, had to pay for toilets in stopovers £1 each x6 ( very disappointed) Would not recommend to my worse enemies. Rush , rush ,rush all day long not given any time to take time . One of our party had a fall , no first aid given . Also ages was not taken in consideration. Rush rush trip we did not want. Oldest in our party was 76 yrs old . Dropped off on main road after a 24 hour round trip .( not good) considering we had a injured party . Reimbursement would not go a miss.
Be careful when booking this one. The driver to and from the hotel was lovely. The guide himself was very very rushed. You pay soo much especially for a private tour to be rushed around soo much. Not worth the money to be completely honest. My mum has a bad leg so this was not good at all. Again, expect tips.
We had once booked the day trip to Cairo and the one to Luxor, we were sent all the details directly after booking via WhatsApp, we always got an answer immediately. However, my wife caught a cold and she was not well so we could not start the Luxor trip. Also there the travel companion was very accommodating and refunded me my full payment. I would like to thank you again and will book again with this travel companion. Best regards Cihat Akipa
Very good 2 day trips. Yasmine explained the history of Egypt by visiting the essentials of Cairo. The pace was very good, the explanations very clear, we ate well. On the other hand, it seems to me that we have to have drinks for both days. Remember to take your water bottles.
Simply fantastic. Kareem, Magdy and Moustafa were extremely helpful people with great courtesy and competence. We made an exciting travel full of history thanks to the expertise of our guides. I recommend it to everybody!
I had an unforgettable two days with Emy, an absolute expert Egyptologist and guide, in Cairo! I can’t say enough about the unforgettable things that I saw and learned in the short time that we were together. I was picked up by Ahmed from the airport and transferred to my hotel with professionalism and hospitality. Kareem, the contact person for the tour company, was easily reachable and checked in constantly to make sure everything was OK. As a solo female traveler in Cairo for the first time, I felt that I was in very safe hands from start to finish. Even when a small situation happened with a stranger bothering me on the street, both Emy and Kareem were quick to follow up and make sure my safety was always a priority. Emy arrived at the hotel on day one with a private driver and off we went to see the pyramids. On the way, she gave me a wonderful overview of Egyptian geography and history. I was able to go inside one of the pyramids and climb to the top, while Emy waited for me below. She was not only an excellent guide, but a pro photographer! She knew all the best spots to take great photos everywhere we went. We continued on to see the great Sphinx, the pyramids at Sakara, the city of Memphis and its relics, and stopped for lunch at a lovely place with homemade bread, great food, and wonderful service. Emy then returned me to my hotel for a little rest before the sound and light show at the great pyramids - definitely worth seeing! On the way, she took me for a quick coffee at a lovely street café. The driver waited for me until the show is over and then returned me to the hotel. On day two, Emmy arrived again with a private driver and we set out to see the citadel and mosque and do some shopping. She knew of authentic and verified places where purchases are sanctioned by the government, authentic Egyptian things! She took me to a beautiful papyrus museum, a natural Egyptian oil producer (rose, lotus, almond, dozens more), A handmade jeweler, and a beautiful Egyptian cotton store. She even knew exactly where to go when I told her I needed to buy an extra suitcase to get all of my purchases home! We then had another lovely lunch at a restaurant I enjoyed very much. The manager and staff were delightful and hospitable, and the food was delicious and never ending. Afterwords we went to the Egyptian Museum where I saw the King Tut exhibit! In addition, Emy gave me the highlights in the museum from all of the Egyptian periods, and I found it truly fascinating. It would be easy to spend an entire day and this museum, and I wish we had had a little more time to explore it. Following the museum, we headed to the bizarre and Moez Street. This is somewhere I wish we had had a little more time also, because there were lots of shops and things that are so unique to Cairo, especially during the time of Ramadan. There, Emy handed me the most delicious rice pudding I’ve ever had in my life and it was as if we have been friends are entire lives. She took me to a spice shop so that I could buy some things to take home, like hibiscus and herbs. She knew exactly where everything was and where to buy it, I was thankful to have her as a translator and guide in this beautiful city. From there, we headed to a dinner cruise on the Nile. The show was quite cheesy and the food was very mediocre, and in some cases inedible. It didn’t feel like an authentic Egyptian experience, and I think I would’ve much rather done something else in hindsight. After the cruise, Emmy delivered me back to my hotel, with lots of hugs! The next morning, our trusted driver picked me up from the hotel and took me to the airport for an easy departure. Mustafa even stopped on the way to buy me a sugar cane juice - which was delicious. All along, I felt very looked after and safe. It was a wonderful experience to have such an expert guide all to myself and to see so many important sites in such a short time in Cairo. I learned so much about Egyptian culture, history, music, food, recipes, traditions….. All thanks to Emy! Emy is amazing and I can’t Thank her enough for the wonderful hospitality and memories. I can’t wait to see her again!
We had a fabulous week in Cairo. The pyramids are impressive. Our guides was very well educated on history and we enjoyed many anecdotes. During the week we booked extra services through Egypt Excursions. Kareem helped us fast and uncomplicated. Extra tours and just driver for a day was absolutely no problem and affordable. Our communication was through WhatsApp and they replied within minutes. English or German was the language of communication. We can 100% recommend them.
