Maak een dagtrip vanuit Hurghada naar enkele van de mooiste historische bezienswaardigheden van Egypte. Geniet van gratis ophalen en wegbrengen en de diensten van een Egyptoloog terwijl u de oude sites verkent.
Na het ophalen bij uw hotel gaat u naar Luxor om de beroemdste monumenten van Egypte te bezoeken, waaronder de tempel van Karnak.
Ontspan tijdens de lunch in een plaatselijk restaurant en neem vervolgens een traditionele Egyptische motorboot om de Nijl over te steken naar de andere oever (optioneel).
Bekijk de indrukwekkende Kolossen van Memnon, de laatste overblijfselen van de Tempel van Amenophis III.
Laat je betoveren door de architectuur van de Vallei der Koningen en bezoek de tempel van Hatsjepsoet, een van de vrouwelijke heersers van het oude Egypte.
Steek de Nijl over naar de westelijke oever om een uitgebreid complex van 63 koninklijke graven te ontmoeten. Valley of the Kings is waar de gouden schatten van koning Tut-Ench-Amun liggen met zijn originele accessoires in zijn tombe. Kijk op en neer naar de geschriften op de ommuurde zijden van elk graf die het verhaal van elke koning in de hiërogliefentaal registreerden.

1. Belangrijke dingen om mee te nemen: Origineel paspoort (verplicht voor elke reis binnen Egypte, vooral naar tempels en graven). Lichte en comfortabele kleding, geschikt voor warm en zonnig weer. Hoed en zonnebril om te beschermen tegen de zon. Zonnebrandcrème. Comfortabele wandelschoenen, speciaal voor de Vallei der Koningen. Drinkwater (bij voorkeur een hervulbare fles). Camera of telefoon voor foto's (sommige sites beperken flits). Persoonlijke medicatie indien nodig. 2. Dingen niet toegestaan / verboden : Buiten eten of drinken in sommige archeologische vindplaatsen. Roken op bepaalde plaatsen (alleen in daarvoor bestemde ruimten). Grote bagage of extra grote tassen bevinden zich in de bus. Aanraken of steunen op artefacten of beelden. Flitsfotografie in tombes (vooral de Vallei der Koningen). Drones of kleine vliegtuigen zonder officiële toestemming.

Nana and Khalido were great guides and very helpful. We loved the Karnak temple, valley of the kings was amazing , Hatshepsut was impressive but don’t need so long here. We visited in July at 40c so it was super hot, however they were really helpful managing the heat. My daughter was travel sick on the way and struggled with the heat but they were very understanding and helped her get better, Nana did everything she could to make her feel better. The whole team were very friendly and Nana is extremely knowledgeable and super fun and kept the group moving well. It’s a lot packed into one day. The boat trip along the Nile was really special.

The excursion was really well organized, and our French guide El Tayeb provided a lot of explanations. A big thank you to him for his kindness and his answers to our questions about Egyptian history, the reading of hieroglyphs, etc. The bus had air conditioning and refreshing drinks all day long. Everything was top-notch

Excellent day. A long day yes, but well worth it. Pick up from the hotel was on time(Big plus for me) It was 3am and we returned back to our hotel at 9pm. The whole team was excellent. We had 4 pick up points on the way, then we had 2 pitstops for toilet breaks and leg stretches. On the journey and through the day water was supplied free of charge. Met our guide Nana who was excellent all day. Such a smiley happy person. Loved the photo book she had. Told great stories. Loved all our stopping points, the Nile ride was great (could have done without the loud music) Food in the restaurant was ok. I don't like the stop of selling places, but that's how they make a little extra. Found the stone carving demonstration very cringey. The way they all said things at the same time, was like trained animals at a zoo! Whole day was great, team excellent.👍👏 Remember it is very very hot at the valley of the kings😅
