Volledige dag wandelen in Munnar (door Munnar Info)

we starten ongeveer 90 tot 120 minuten door de theeplantages. Nadat we de top van de heuvel hebben bereikt, ligt de rest van onze paar uur durende trek op de bergkam die prachtige uitzichten biedt, door graslanden, aan de ene kant een rotsachtige berghelling. en de andere kant zijn theeplantages, flarden van Shola-bos, enz., op een heldere dag konden we de Anaimudi "hoogste piek in S. India" en het waterreservoir van Idukki-dam zien, dat als hoogste aartsdammen in Azië en derde langste dam in India. We zullen verfrissing krijgen met wat fruit en snacks. We zullen door het natuurgebied Nature Resort gaan waar we een aantal exotische kruiden zoals koffie, kardemom, enz. Kunnen zien. Na zal onze wandeling naar de meest toppiek (2000 mtr) verdergaan dan zal het ongeveer 10 minuten teruglopen door het shola-bos naar de theeplantage. Zal nog 90 minuten tot 120 minuten lopen door de theeplantages om de trek te voltooien, het hoogste punt van deze tocht is ongeveer 2000 meter MSL (ongeveer).

We wanted to visited the Letchmi Estate for a hiking tour and we found this one on the company’s website. Vijay was an incredible guide who explained us a lot of things while hiking also giving us our time to take pictures and stop when we needed to rest. Moni took us on the very nice walk through the tea fields, mountains and forest. He took good care of us with delicious food along the way, paused after style stretches of walking and told a lot of interesting information about what we encountered and what spices etc grew. I did the full day hike with Mani, he is a super nice guy who knows a lot about the flora and fauna in Munnar. I definitely recommend it

We enjoyed the hike through the tea plantations and the views from the mountains top. Mani was great at guiding us and explaining the nature along the way all different kinds of plants. It was just what we were after!

I had such a wonderful time on the hike. The guide (Sami) knows a lot of cool funfacts about nature and can tell you alot about indian culture and munnar in general. It was a really great day and I would recommend it to anyone

We absolutely loved our trek through the Lakshmi Hills with Raja! The walk itself was beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and tea plantations. Raja was an amazing guide, so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, nature and wildlife. We learnt so much from him and had an all round amazing time!

Forget all other options and go with this one. The best experience and guide - Mani. Incredibly knowledgeable, organised food and water for the trek. Any other options won’t be nearly as good as this. We walked through tea plantations, mountains and the villages of munnar. Mani explained the life of the area with great detail and brought what I was seeing into context. For 1700 rupees this is more than worth it. Also offered pick up and drop off from hotels

We had a fabulous day with Sami doing the full day trek. The scenery is beautiful and Sami was very knowledgeable about shared lots of information, and he was very patient with our endless questions. The snacks and lunch were delicious. My favourite day in India so far.. I would highly recommend.

We loved the full day trek in Munnar. Gorgeous views, moderate hiking (trainers are fine), and we learnt a lot from our knowledgable and professional guide, Mani. Good food provided. Highly recommend!
