De rondleidingen zijn zeer informatief. Onze gidsen hebben uitgebreide kennis van vulkanen, geologie en de geschiedenis van vulkanen en hun omgeving. Dit is geen doorsnee tour, maar een gespecialiseerde tour met de experts.

We vertrekken om 15:30 uur vanuit Granda. Het is dan nog maar 40 minuten naar de ingang van het Masaya Volcano National Park. Deze tour omvat een stop bij het versteende lavameer in het park, het museum, de heuvel El Comalito en een 10 minuten durend bezoek aan de krater van Santiago om de gloed van de lava te bewonderen. We keren rond 19:30 uur terug in Granada.

U wordt opgehaald bij alle hotels, hostels en Airbnb's binnen een straal van 2 kilometer van het centrale park van Granada. Ophalen buiten Granada is mogelijk, maar overleg met uw reisagent omdat er mogelijk kleine extra kosten aan verbonden zijn.

Mario was excellent at communicating and getting us set up with the tours and transportation for our whole trip. Our guide for the trip was Teo, he was excellent!! He spoke English very well and was very well informed. He also taught us some fun nicaraguan slang ;) it was a really fun trip!

They didn’t just take us from one place to another — they took the time to share the history of the sites, teach us some Nicaraguan words and expressions, and truly made the experience enjoyable and authentic. I decided to take this tour on my solo trip through Nicaragua and highly recommended. Brutal experience being so close to an active volcano and the enthusiasm of local guides for your land is appreciated.
The view of the volcano was a bit underwhelming. You could see a red glow down below but you don't see any active lavaa. But the guide and driver were great. Unfortunately I don't remember their names. I was the only one on the tour and the 2 men were both courteous friendly and very interactive. It was a very pleasant trip

The Masaya Volcano Night Tour was awesome. Mario was a great guide with very good English. We started with a bit of a hike up the Comalito Trail to see a beautiful sunset then when on to see the magma in the volcano. Something you don't see everyday. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
