Eagle's Nest en Berchtesgaden dagtour vanuit München

Ga mee op een dagtour met de bus van München naar het Berchtesgadengebergte, waar Hitlers bergtocht plaatsvond en het voormalige zuidelijke hoofdkwartier van de nazipartij. Bezoek Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus), een berghut gebouwd door de nazi’s als cadeau voor Hitler. Deze historische plek ligt dramatisch op 1.834 meter hoogte op de berg Kehlstein en biedt enkele van de meest adembenemende uitzichten op de Alpen in heel Duitsland. Ironisch genoeg bezocht Hitler de lodge zelden, omdat hij last had van duizeligheid en zich ongemakkelijk voelde met hoogtes. Eagle’s Nest is alleen geopend van mei tot eind oktober, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden.

Vertrek vanuit München naar Obersalzberg – Deze schilderachtige excursie biedt een adembenemend uitzicht op de Beierse Alpen. Op een heldere dag kunt u bij aankomst zelfs een glimp opvangen van het majestueuze Watzmanngebergte. Na ongeveer twee uur rijden bereiken we Obersalzberg.
Vanuit Obersalzberg neemt u een speciale bus die u naar de top van het Adelaarsnest (Kehlsteinhaus) brengt, waar u door een tunnel kunt lopen en toegang krijgt tot de lift die u naar de top van een door de nazipartij gebouwde opperbevelpost voor Hitlers 50e verjaardag brengt. Vanaf het spectaculaire panoramische terras kunt u genieten van de majestueuze schoonheid van het Alpenlandschap. U kunt afdalen naar het busstation met de lift of te voet, langs een prachtig pad met een prachtig uitzicht op elk moment. Vrije tijd op de top om het uitzicht te bewonderen en jezelf onder te dompelen in de geschiedenis.
Na een bezoek aan Eagle’s Nest heeft u tijd om een stop te maken bij Restaurant Berghof voor de lunch en geniet u van de vrije tijd (kosten niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs)
Vrije tijd om het Documentatiecentrum te bezoeken en te zien waar Hitlers voormalige huis stond. (bezoek is facultatief : op eigen kosten).
Rond 16.00 uur beginnen we aan de terugreis naar München door de Duitse Alpen, betoverende uitzichten en betoverende landschappen wachten op u. We arriveren rond 18.00 uur.

Fortunately the weather was outstanding with epic views. That said, Ursula our tour guide provided a thorough and informative commentary throughout.

Eagles Nest is brilliant and guide Ursula is excellent and points out many places of interest. Well paced which is important over a long day.
Our guide, Hanae, and driver, Smiley, were great. Comfortable ride with great information and lots of ideas about starting in Munich. Please note that the special bus from the documents center to the Eagles nest and the documents center is an extra fee. The Eagles nest is a restaurant. That and beverages on the bus are cash only. The restaurant near the documents center and Hitlers cabin takes cards. Though this day was the most expensive part of our family trip, we all agree this was THE day none of us will forget. If it’s in your ability to walk up to the cross, or down the mountain trail from the Eagles nest, or down to the ruins of Hitlers favorite cabin we all recommend these.

Absolutely amazing bus driver and guide eagle nest was amazing and the weather was perfect so everything was great if there is anything that was less good it was the museum it was pretty boring but everything else was super

Bring your passport! I believe it’s in the fine print somewhere I couldn’t see. If you forget you won’t be going into Austria. The trip was absolutely amazing! The guide and driver were fantastic and knowledgeable. I suggest checking the weather before you book as it can be quite cold.
