Ontmoet om 08.10 uur huisnummer Karlsplatz 21/Stachus naast het Buddy hotel. Vertrek 08:30 uur vanuit München en ga richting de gemeente Schwangau, vlakbij het dorp Hohenschwangau uw belangrijkste bestemming: Slot Neuschwanstein een prachtig UNESCO Werelderfgoed. Gids Tour uitgevoerd in het Engels en Snacks en drankjes zijn inbegrepen. Rond 10:00 uur -Aankomst im Neuschwanstein. U kunt het kasteel te voet bereiken (ongeveer 30-40 minuten bergopwaarts lopen ) of met de shuttlebus (afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden). Verken het iconische sprookjeskasteel van koning Ludwig II en kom alles te weten over de fascinerende geschiedenis en architectuur. Aanbevolen zicht: Marienbrücke (Mariabrug - gesloten tijdens de wintermaanden) – Biedt een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op kasteel Neuschwanstein, de Pöllat-waterval en de omliggende Beierse Alpen. Dit iconische uitzicht biedt de perfecte gelegenheid voor onvergetelijke foto's. Vrije tijd na de tour om boodschappen te doen en te genieten van de lunch op uw eigen gemak.
Na de lunch maken we een korte stop van ongeveer 30 minuten in het charmante dorpje Oberammergau. Je hebt tijd om door de pittoreske straatjes te slenteren en te zoeken naar mooie souvenirs. Oberammergau is wereldberoemd om zijn Passion Play, dat om de tien jaar wordt opgevoerd. Deze opmerkelijke productie dramatiseert de laatste vijf dagen van het leven van Jezus Christus en trekt bezoekers van over de hele wereld. Houd er rekening mee dat Oberammergau vanwege de weersomstandigheden niet toegankelijk is van begin december tot eind maart.
Rond 15:45 uur - Aankomst op kasteel Linderhof is een must-see vanwege het historische belang, de prachtige architectuur, het prachtige interieur en de prachtige tuinen. Sinds 2025 is het kasteel Linderhof UNESCO Werelderfgoed Je hebt ongeveer 10 minuten nodig om het kasteel te bereiken, ofwel door te lopen. Rond 16:10-Begijn begint de rondleiding door kasteel Linderhof ongeveer 25 min. Neem de tijd om door de tuinen te slenteren en foto's te maken. Na een bezoek vertrek van Linderhof naar München en terug te keren rond 19:00 op Karlsplatz 21, München.

This day trip offers too much attractions for not much time, and we had to choose in the end what to do. Was able to go to Neuschwanstein castle, but when I tried to go to Marienbrücke, it was crowded and was time to leave. Frustrating… visits are scheduled, and there was not much time for breaks. We had to pay for the bus to take us uphills, or go walking. Could be included… The second stop in Oberammergau was fast… we had 45 mins to explore the village and have an ice cream in the village. Then the second castle we spent like 1 hour there and had to return…when I saw it was a ViP trip, expected more for the price we paid. Also, expected the guide with us, returning to bus from attractions, as it was far from the bus, but she just accompanied us to the entrance, and left us behind…

The itinerary combines several of Bavaria’s major highlights in one day and is carefully coordinated around fixed admission times at Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Especially during the peak summer season, Marienbrücke can become extremely crowded, and unfortunately these waiting times are outside our control. The shuttle bus at Neuschwanstein is a separate local service and is therefore not included in the tour price. Guests may choose between using the shuttle or walking uphill. The Premium Tour includes benefits such as a smaller group, a premium coach, refreshments and additional service on board, but the visits to the castles and designated free-time portions are not continuously accompanied by our guide. Our guides provide the necessary information, orientation and meeting points before guests explore these areas independently. We understand that you would have preferred more time at the individual locations. However, extending one stop would inevitably reduce the time available at another and could affect the fixed admission times for the entire group. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that the format of the tour did not fully match your expectations of the Premium experience.

Faizan and Mr Senod were terrific. The experienced pair gave us a number of “bonuses”. Special spots for pictures, tips and tricks. Based on our experience being the first bus out… you really want to arrive 30-35 Minutes early in prime season. We were able to get in the bridge with minimal wait BEFORE entering the castle. That made the rest of the trip stress free. The one downer was the instructions for finding the bus. If you booked with Viator, nine of the tours are labeled with that and the instructions left a bit to be desired.

Amazing trip to see the castles. Our guide, Ursula, kept us on track to beat the crowds. We went to Neuschwanstein castle first, stopping at Mary’s bridge for the breathtaking views. Ursula was very knowledgeable and gave us insight into Bavarian and King Ludwig’s culture and history. We had a tasty lunch at the base. Then traveled to Oberammergau village and finally to Linderhof castle where we saw the fountain shoot at 4:30. Definitely recommend comfortable shoes, you will do plenty of walking at a fast pace uphill. Cash for the shuttle to Mary’s bridge and a snack at Oberammergau is helpful.
