Wil je echt een stap terug in de tijd zetten? Omringd door de natuurlijke schoonheid van de Sierra Nevada-bergen gaan we omhoog om de regio Alpujarras te verkennen. We brengen de dag door met het bezoeken van drie afgelegen en authentieke dorpjes, badend in de ongerepte natuur en genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht.

We gaan omhoog naar de bergen van de Sierra Nevada om een wirwar van kleine bergdorpjes te vinden - onveranderd door de tijd. Dit is het land van de laatste moslimopstand, heerlijke lokale producten en huppelende berggeiten. Beslis samen met je gids waar je stopt voor een smakelijke lunch, een prachtig uitzicht, charmante opzet en onweerstaanbaar eten staan op het menu.
Vang op een heldere dag een glimp op van de hoogste berg van Spanje, zo duidelijk geschilderd alsof je hem zou kunnen aanraken.
We bezoeken Pampaneira om de creaties van lokale verkopers te ontdekken. Probeer de zoetste honing, zelfgemaakte wijn en rijke chocolade! Geniet natuurlijk van het uitzicht
Stap terug in de tijd terwijl je door de bloemrijke steegjes van Bubion dwaalt. Bekijk de lokale ambachten en handgemaakte tapijten terwijl u geniet van de achtergrond van besneeuwde bergtoppen.
Hoog in de Poqueira-kloof is onze laatste plek. Tussen het witgekalkte dorp vindt u overblijfselen van het katholieke en moslimerfgoed - op elkaar gelegd in echte Spaanse stijl.
U kunt deze lokale winkel bezoeken en leren over de ambachtelijke lokale producten, proeven en kopen.
We stoppen bij deze 500 jaar oude oude brug om te genieten van de schoonheid ervan en meer te weten te komen over het Mulslim-verleden van Granda.

We spent a great day traveling through the Sierra Nevada mountains with Sebastian. The small villages we visited were charming. We were scheduled for a small group tour of 8 but the company canceled that trip with no explanation but provided us with Sebastian and his taxi. It was a lucky change of plans. We greatly enjoyed talking with him and appreciated his expertise. Great change from city tours.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending our day with Ramon, our guide to two small villages in the Alpujarra region of Spain. He was well informed about the area and how it has evolved over the years with better roads and infrastructure. He knew the best shops to visit and how to navigate the steep and narrow paths of the towns. He took us to a popular restaurant that offered a range of local specialties, a place we would have never found on our own. We even encountered a few (100?) goats on our way back to Granada. Ramon also answered our questions about the little towns but all of our questions about Spanish life and culture. It was a great day!
We had a wonderful day in the Alpujarra mountains with our local guide, Ignacio, who showed us around. We visited picturesque villages, sampled local specialties, and got the chance to meet some of the locals. We also went on a short hike in the mountains, enjoying stunning views – it was absolutely lovely! Ignacio was an excellent guide – very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour!
It was a very complete excursion visiting the Tablate bridge, Lanjarón, Capileira, Pampaneira, El Chorreón and the Agria fountain. Three of us traveled in a taxi with a driver-guide, named Manuel, who was very friendly and explained everything to us very well.
The scenery was stunning and the villages fascinating. Our guide, Miguel, was hugely informative about the history and architecture of the area, as well as going out of his way to make sure we appreciated the full magnificence of the area.
A wonderful visit and a spectacular area that surprised me. Dante has been an excellent guide, very kind and very professional. I loved the excursion and I totally recommend it

It was an wonderful experience to visit villages in the Sierra Nevada mountain. It seems that they have an unique culture different from the southern part of Spain.
Ramon was a fabulous guide, very personable and with excellent local and history knowledge. We were a little concerned that as the small group ended up as just the two of us that it would be a little intense, but Ramon was great company throughout. A big thank you also to the company for not cancelling the tour due to lack of numbers, really appreciated. Ramon knew the owners of the artisan shops and restaurants' that we visited during the trip ensuring we had the greatest experience. We also were taken to some photo opportunity points where the views over the mountains and valleys were stunning. The villages are wonderful, very remote, a step back in time and an excellent counterpoint to the city of Granada. Thanks Ramon, you were a star.
