Reis naar het bergachtige dorp Stavros, verbonden met het paleis van Odysseus. Proef het beroemde "Rovani" dessert en bewonder de buste van de legendarische held. Breng uitgebreide vrije tijd door in het pittoreske dorpje Kioni - een van de mooiste havens van Griekenland. Dineren in taverna's aan het water met verse zeevruchten en traditionele gerechten. We beginnen onze dag met een mooie rit van ongeveer 45' naar de haven van Sami en gaan aan boord van de veerboot naar de haven van Piso-Aetos in Ithaka voor een rit van ongeveer 45 minuten.
Vanuit de haven van Piso Aetos beginnen we onze tour door Ithaka. Onze eerste stop na 15', s naar de hoofdstad van het eiland, het kleine stadje "Vathy", waar we een stop maken om de musea en kerken te bezoeken, te gaan winkelen en wat vrije tijd te hebben om de stad te verkennen en ervan te genieten. Bij het verlaten van "Vathy" passeren we het charmante "Lazaretto" eiland gelegen in het centrum van de baai van Vathi en gaan we op weg naar onze volgende bestemming.
Als we onze excursie voortzetten, maken we een rit van 50 minuten door prachtige landschappen naar de charmante "Kioni-baai" om te lunchen.
Na het dorp Kioni nemen we onze bus weer voor een korte rit van 25' en langs het dorp Frikes gaan we richting onze laatste stop - het dorp "Stavros". Daar stoppen we om het heerlijke lokale dessert "Rovani" te proeven en de buste van Odysseus, de oude kerk van "Sotiros" (Verlosser) en de prachtige "Polis Bay", een strand van grote schoonheid, te bewonderen. Als we onze tour beëindigen, nemen we onze weg terug en binnen 30' bereiken we de haven van "Piso Aetos" voor de veerboot terug (45') naar onze basis na een dag van mythologische pracht.

Our guide ,Elvira and exceptionally skilled coach driver made this tour superb. All the necessary information was clear for all to hear . We thoroughly enjoyed Ithaki and the Villages are stunning . We had plenty of stops with enough time in each pretty harbour and town to relax, explore and take a drink or lunch . Very efficient and relaxing way to see a beautiful little island adjacent to Kefalonia and only 40 mins on the ferry . The roads are narrow, winding and steep in parts so not a place easily to navigate but definitely worth this tour . Enjoy .

We went on a trip to Ithaca Island from Lassi. A wonderful day where we got to visit some lovely places with lots of information from our guide Elvira. Great driving also from Dennis. Extremely pleased we decided to do this trip. Good food and drinks available on Ithaca, not so great coffee on the boat to the island.
We enjoyed our day on Ithaka and learned about greek mythology and different parts of the island. We were staying north of Argostoli in Fanari and our pickup point was at the Limanaki Hotel just a few minutes from where we were staying. The coach was comfortable, air conditioned and Andreas is a very good driver. Our guide Elvira explained everything well and provided really good commentary throughout the day. Vathy, Kioni and Stavros are picturesque and the sardines for lunch and Ithakian dessert in Stavros were memorable. We enjoyed finding out about Greek mythology and although it was a long day, well worth it. Thank you Andreas, Elvira and company for providing happy holiday memories for us.
That the guide takes you where she says, and not where you want, bad experience, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This was a great excursion. The price is well worth it for what is involved. Collected from the door of our hotel, the bus was clean and very comfortable. Our guide, Elvira was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and gave great information, stories and provided some very good jokes! The destinations were interesting and the all round scenery of the island was stunning. We enjoyed it so much we booked a further trip the following week! Would highly recommend - great price and service.

Long but great day out. Picked up in Lassi with Elvira as our guide and Jonathan as our bus driver. How the coach got through those little villages and narrow roads. Jonathan was amazing. Elvira very informative throughout the whole day. Lovely island. Would recommend the tour and the company.
This is a great trip and gives a good insight into some of the sights and attractions of Ithaca. Plenty of time to walk around the capital Vathy and also lunch at the beautiful Kuoni Bay. Our guide-Elvira was full of interesting facts and explained the myths and history of the island. Recommended
