Welkom aan boord van de Christchurch Tram! Reis op onze onlangs uitgebreide track & geniet van deze unieke en historische manier om de binnenstad te bekijken. Chauffeurs zorgen voor een live en onderhoudend commentaar. Een volledig circuit duurt 50 minuten, omvat 18 haltes en er rijden maximaal vier Trams. Trams rijden ongeveer elke 15 minuten (seizoensafhankelijk) en je ticket duurt de hele dag als hop on en off pass. Zodra u geboekt heeft, kunt u uw tickets met uw boekingsreferentienummer ophalen bij het boekingskantoor in Cathedral Junction 109 Worcester St. Houd er rekening mee dat onze attracties soms erg druk worden, vooral als een cruiseschip in de haven ligt en er een wachttijd kan zijn bij de ingang van de tram vanwege de toegenomen vraag

- Opgeklapte kinderwagens kunnen alleen op bepaalde trams worden geplaatst
- Gelieve ons vooraf te informeren als u rolstoelhulp nodig heeft
- Tickets kunnen worden opgehaald bij het boekingskantoor in Cathedral Junction 109 Worcester St
- Door de toegenomen vraag kan er een wachttijd zijn bij de tramingang
- Bijzondere trams zijn rolstoeltoegankelijk en mensen met mobiliteitsproblemen kunnen worstelen met de hoogte van de trams
- Er is een rolstoellift beschikbaar bij halte 1 in Cathedral Junction met een gewichtslimiet van 220kg. Houd er rekening mee dat de takel niet toegankelijk is voor elektrische rolstoelen

Excellent all round experience. Learnt a heap about the area - visually the viewing from the ride & all the info from the driver it was exceptionally great value. Must do!
Loved this way of getting info on the CBD. Would recommend this to be the first thing to do in Christchurch, to plan everything else you want to spend time doing for the rest of your visit.
A must do to see Christchurch city in full by doing a full loop to identify exactly where you want to shop or eat at.
The tour was very nice and the trams were very good; the city is very beautiful and there is a lot to do. The distance to get there from our hotel is also very accessible.

I pay $52 but I didn’t know I was charged $87.28 on my account because of the USD. Dollar. So my experience was very disappointing

We absolutely loved the Christchurch Tram and honestly wished we could have gone around again the next day! It was such a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the city, and we can't recommend it highly enough. We were lucky enough to ride with what I think were all four trams working that day, and every single one of them was incredibly with each tram driver being friendly, welcoming and passionate about Christchurch also with great recommendations on where to go. One of the biggest highlights was when our tram was running a little ahead of schedule. Instead of simply waiting, our driver took us into the Arts Centre and showed us the Great Hall, sharing the fascinating history of the building. It was such an unexpected bonus and something we really appreciated. Another driver even stopped the tram so guests could hop off and take photos outside, which made for some wonderful memories. It's those little personal touches that made this experience so special. Thank you to all of the amazing tram drivers for making our visit so memorable. We would recommend the Christchurch Tram to anyone visiting the city!

The Christchurch tram is a single carriage tram, of which eight carriages, each over 100 years old, run along a 18 stop circuit through central Christchurch. A guide on the tram, mostly also the driver, provides (often humorous) comments about points of interest you pass along the way. Ideal for a rainy Sunday winter morning - that's when we took this trip.

Was informative and interesting till the very end. Excited 6 year old nephew was a little excited and a bit loud. A little girl was as well. Not jumping around. Just a bit loud. Tram driver Barry was not talking at this time but when he needed to again instead of just saying he needed quiet decided it would be a better idea to humiliate our group and the other parent. We were already saying to nephew to lower his voice. Then getting off did not even say a word to us but did to everyone else. Wasn’t a really friendly atmosphere and you’d expect better from someone who works with tourist children. Ticket seller and other tram drivers were amazing and friendly

The best thing that we did on our first day in Christchurch. It allowed us to see everything and make plans to spend more time at certain places. The commentary was informative and amusing.
It was so great. The drivers were amazing and made suggestions what to do and where to get on and off. So interesting to hear about the earthquake and all the rebuilding. Even though I live 70kms away so much information I did not know about. Thank you
