Een tour naar Blue Eye en Gjirokaster zou een fascinerende reis zijn door enkele van de mooiste en meest historische regio's van Albanië. Blue Eye, gelegen nabij de stad Saranda, is een prachtige natuurlijke bron met kristalhelder blauw water waardoor het op een gigantisch oog lijkt. Ook de omgeving is prachtig, met weelderig groen en adembenemende uitzichten. Gjirokaster daarentegen staat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO en is een van de meest historische steden van Albanië. Met zijn smalle geplaveide straatjes, architectuur uit het Ottomaanse tijdperk en een prachtig kasteel met uitzicht op de stad, is Gjirokaster een must-see voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in geschiedenis en cultuur. Samen zou een tour naar Blue Eye en Gjirokaster een perfecte mix van natuurlijke schoonheid en culturele rijkdom bieden, wat zorgt voor een onvergetelijke ervaring in Albanië.

Na het ophalen is onze eerste stop Blue Eye. we zetten de auto af op de parkeerplaats van het natuurpark en lopen 17 minuten naar de hoofdplek. Aangekomen in de bron hebben we tijd om een aantal fantastische foto's te maken, wat lokale souvenirs te kopen of zelfs naar het koude, zoete water van de bron te zwemmen (niet naar de hoofdplek). Ik zal de hele tijd bij je zijn en klaar staan om alle informatie te verstrekken die je nodig hebt.
Gjirokaster is een historische stad waar verbazingwekkende dingen te zien en te proeven zijn. Het staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO en staat bekend om zijn goed bewaarde architectuur uit het Ottomaanse tijdperk, met veel van zijn gebouwen met opvallende stenen daken en smalle geplaveide straatjes. we beginnen met een bezoek aan het kasteel in ongeveer 30 minuten. we hebben een geweldig uitzicht over de stad van bovenaf en een grote kans op onvergetelijke foto's. Na het kasteel lopen we samen naar de oude Bazaar waar we de kans krijgen om wat lokale souvenirs te kopen. Lunch met traditionele Albanese gerechten zal het beste deel van de tour zijn. We lunchen in een lokaal familierestaurant waar alles huisgemaakt is, gekookt door deze lieve familie. Aan het eind van de dag krijgt u de kans op een gratis wandeling van ongeveer 30 minuten door de stenen stad.

This was a fantastic trip to some amazing parts of Albania and its history. Blue eye and gjirokaster castle and town were wonderful, and the mountain scenery is amazing. Our guide Tony was so great, with lots of interesting information about the area and history. He was also really good with our kids. And we had a lovely Albanian meal under the trees in gjirokaster. I would highly recommend this trip and this guide.
We had an amazing tour to the Blue Eye and Gjirokaster, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The natural beauty of the Blue Eye was breathtaking, and Gjirokaster’s rich history and architecture were fascinating to explore. Our fantastic guide Fatjon picked us up at the port and took us for a wonderful trip around. Very knowledgeable guy who told us a lot of interesting facts and stories as we drove around, and when we walked true the sights. Absolutely worth taking a trip with these guys 😊☀️
The view is very beautiful, the water crystal clear and with a colourful landscape. The castle offers a great view. We also ate delicious and typical food in the old town. Fatjon, our guide, has a lot of knowledge and the stories and anecdotes are very interesting. He is really nice ! Everything was great thank you so much ! We can only recommend if you want to experience and learn more about albanian culture
Denis our guide as well as the tour was amazing!He was very knowledgeable kind and friendly we had an amazing time with him! I booked the trip for me and my friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Denis took us to many places such and the blue eye which was magical offering to take pictures of us girls which was nice as he was very patient with us. For any trips I would highly recommend we had an amazing time thank you so much!!! :)

My sister and I had an amazing day with Denis, not only did we visit some of the most beautiful places in Albania, we also got to learn so much about the history and culture. Denis is extremely knowledgeable and passionate, he was able to answer all of our questions in great detail. The tour feels very private and Denis intends to keep it this way. The traditional lunch we had in Gjirokaster was also delicious- we got to try a huge variety to dishes. Overall, would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting!
