Mosseltour is een unieke lokale ervaring waarbij u onze koningin, de beroemde blauwe mossel van het Butrint-meer, zult ontmoeten. De reis begint op een traditionele boot, eerst stop je bij mosselkwekerijen. Het proces van mosselkweek zal worden uitgelegd en we zullen wat verse mosselen rechtstreeks van de boerderij halen, de volgende stop is in het restaurant, maar voordat we daar zijn, zal een beetje betrokkenheid bij het scheidingsproces nodig zijn. Ieder van ons zal handschoenen dragen en de koninginnen gaan scheiden. Werk, zeilen en meditatie gedurende 15 minuten zijn optioneel voor elke gast. Daarna vaart u naar een ander deel van het Nationaal Park van Butrint, een lokaal en idyllisch restaurant, waar u twee soorten mosselgerechten bereidt, gekleed in olijfolie, citroen en peterselie, vergezeld van lokale witte wijn, verse groenten, zelfgebakken brood, en water voor elk maakt de tafel compleet. Na het genieten van de smaak van ons land en het delen van prachtige verhalen, zal het ontspannen terugvaren zijn door naar de zonsondergang te kijken.

Nationaal Park van Butrint. We beginnen de tour vanaf de ingang van de oude stad Butrint, bij het viavari-kanaal (11:00 uur) op traditionele motorboten met capaciteit 8+ 2 (gids en kapitein). Vaar naar mosselbanken, betonconstructie waar we mosselen kweken, 10 minuten varen. Om 11:10 komen we aan bij de mosselbanken, eerste stop hier, we parkeren de boot en blijven op de boot terwijl we genieten van het proces van mosselkweek uitgelegd door onze lokale gids. Blijf hier ongeveer 20 minuten. Gedurende deze tijd zullen we handschoenen dragen en gaan werken zoals mosselkwekers doen, werk en meditatie zullen zijn.
Om 11.30 uur gaan we weer zeilen, deze keer is onze richting Kalivoi, "rijke man" huis in het oude Rome, onderdeel van Nationaal Park van Butrint, een leuk lokaal restaurant vlakbij het meer is daar gevestigd. 15 minuten varen. Om 11:45 landen we bij het restaurant en beginnen we met het bereiden van de mosselen die we op mosselbanken hadden gevangen. Genieten van de lunch met drie soorten mosselgerechten, verse groenten, zelfgebakken brood vergezeld van lokale witte wijn en water voor elk. In het restaurant blijven we een uur, soms langer.
Om 12:45 varen we terug naar de ingang van Butrint. Deze periode is perfect om deze ervaring te koppelen door tegelijkertijd de oude stad Butrint te bezoeken

Terrible, they canceled on us twice and also just minutes before starting. We organized two days of vacation around this activity and they notify us at the last hour (literally, we returned from a beach 2 hours away for this activity and they notify us when we are at the apartment already prepared to go). They canceled the first time and ask us to reorganize it ourselves, when the activity stated it was completely full until Saturday. Even so, I book it again for Saturday. I am the one who asks if it is going to take place in the morning since they do not tell me anything, and my surprise is that they tell me no again, but if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't even notify you. I find it incredible that you come on vacation for 5 days and organize your day around certain activities and these people cancel it on you at the last minute, as if you had time to spare. To this day, I still do not have the refund of the money for the payments I made (€214), neither of them. Honestly, I am not going to recommend it to anyone and, of course, a very bad experience with this tour operator; booking with them is a risk that you will end up with no plans at all. We are leaving tomorrow, so we are left with nothing to do. So, any Spaniard who comes should know what to expect.
This was a fantastic experience! Soraldo Nebo was our guide. He and Captain Dajko gave really great and interesting explanation on the whole process of mussel farming. The food was the highlight of the tour. Every dish was incredible, the salad was fresh and the wine was very tasty. I would highly recommend this tour especially at sunset. The area is gorgeous.
Due to the season, there were no mussels to pick, wash and eat so the experience was very limited…We had a small tour by boat and then ate on the beach and this ended up to be a very expensive dinner for what was offered. We also add that the tour started an hour later than planned, we were informed in advance but still was a bit inconvenient for our plans…and the boat almost left without us despite being there 30min earlier…so overall not a great afternoon. A bit disappointing given the high reviews we read.

It is not a sailing tour as described. If you go to a restaurant to eat mussels, it is cheaper. A little was said about mussels.
Hi dear, On the mussel tour we sail on traditional wooden boat, like on prescription. We haven't mentione "sailing boat" if I understood correctly from translation. Normaly when our guests feel that is shared not enough information they do ask and interact. Do not let thinks get lost. The last is about the mussel dishes, you cannot find in all the region mussel dishes that we prepare at mussel tour, especially: grilled mussel on the wood and raw ones. The Mussel Tour was absolutely incredible. My trip to Albania has been amazing, and this has been the best excursion I've experienced here. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and personable, making the entire experience unforgettable. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and see the captain again next year.
