Kleine groep van maximaal 14 passagiers in een luxe Mercedes Benz Sprinter-busje met airconditioning. Begeleid en verteld door professionele, zeer deskundige chauffeurs met diepgaande kennis van de Hawaiiaanse cultuur en geschiedenis en een persoonlijk tintje. Ontspan en laat ons u als VIP-gast in de watten leggen om u de schoonheid te laten zien tijdens een roadtrip naar het magische Hana. Stop en zwem bij watervallen, wandel over unieke zandstranden en zwem op het beroemdste zwarte zandstrand van het Wainapanapa State Park. Onze chauffeur selecteert een perfecte lunchplek. Als de tijd het toelaat, stoppen we bij fruitkraampjes met vers fruit en groenten die u kunt kopen. Wij staan klaar om u veilig door 617 bochten en 56 bruggen met één rijstrook te leiden en u terug in de tijd te leiden naar de historische momenten en legendarische verhalen die de eilanden vormgeven. Eten, drinken en ophalen bij de meeste hotels en resorts zijn inbegrepen. We rijden je door bloeiende regenwouden, stromende watervallen, diepe poelen en dramatische zeegezichten.

De Hana Highway is een 64,4 mijl lange (103,6 km), langste schilderachtige kustroute ter wereld.
Slechts zes kilometer na uw rit naar Hana vanuit Kahului ontdekt u de historische stad Paia aan de noordkust van Maui.
Hookipa Beach wordt beschouwd als de windsurfhoofdstad van de wereld. Je kunt genieten van het kijken naar windsurfers, kiteboarders en surfers die de oceaangolven en kustlijnwinden uitdagen. Dit is ook de bedreigde Hawaiiaanse groene zeeschildpadhoofdstad van Maui, langs de kustlijn en die de hele dag op het strand ligt te zonnebaden
Maliko Gulch, een baai aan de noordelijke kustlijn van Maui, beschermd tegen de passaatwinden door steile kliffen, staat bekend als het startpunt voor wat wordt beschouwd als de beste downwind-peddel die er is.
Twin Falls is de eerste gemakkelijk bereikbare reeks watervallen en poelen op de weg naar Hana.
Haipua'ena Falls is een kleine waterval en poel langs Maui's populaire Road to Hana. Dankzij het niet-gesigneerde pad en de korte wandeling over een vaak modderig pad ontvangt het zwembad veel minder bezoekersverkeer dan de goed aangegeven watervallen langs de route
Het Ke'anae-schiereiland is een dramatische halve mijl lange massieve vinger van nieuwere lava die uit de kliffen van de Hana Highway steekt.
Ervaar zelf de verrukkingen van tante Sandy's bananenbrood en andere lekkernijen langs de weg op weg naar Hana. Deze unieke Hawaïaanse ervaring verdiende zelfs de aandacht van de beroemde Gordon Ramsey, waardoor nog meer mensen dit verborgen juweeltje hebben ontdekt.
Zeer fotogenieke plek om gefotografeerd te worden terwijl je iets levensbedreigends doet.
De Keanae Overlook nabij Mile Marker 17 biedt een schilderachtig uitzicht op de taro-plekken van Keanae en de oceaan daarachter. De afslag van de Hana Highway naar het Keanae-schiereiland bevindt zich net voorbij het Keanae Arboretum.
Upper Waikani Falls ligt net voorbij Mile Marker 19 op de mauka (of berghelling) van Hana Highway en wordt vaak Three Bears genoemd.

Het is de 18e grootste lavabuis ter wereld en veruit de grootste op Maui. Baan je een weg door de uitgestrekte grot, die een hoogte van maximaal 12 meter bereikt
Hana Bay Park is een centraal gelegen provinciepark en strand dat dient als stadscentrum voor Hana.
Wai’ānapanapa, wat glinsterend water betekent, met Pailoa, zijn beroemde zwarte zandstrand en adembenemende uitzichten op de kust.
Het is een must-see langs de weg naar Hana. Dit is de plek om te stoppen als je op zoek bent naar een typisch Hawaiiaans zwemgat en een waterval om onderdoor te zwemmen. Het water komt uit een natuurlijke bron, ongelooflijk schoon, maar erg koud.

Honomanu Bay is een favoriet onder vissers, surfers en lokale families en belichaamt afzondering. Het ligt aan de voet van de Honomanu-vallei, een groene uitgestrektheid van vulkanisch wonder – en de op een na grootste vallei op de noordelijke hellingen van Haleakala – met hoogtes die 2200 meter de lucht in reiken.
Het beslaat 7,8 hectare en is dicht bebost en biedt bezoekers een close-up en persoonlijk uitzicht op Afrikaanse tulpenbomen en Paperbark, evenals adembenemende vergezichten op het schiereiland Ke'anae (en de uitgestrekte, oh zo blauwe oceaan).
De unieke regenboogboom onthult heldere tinten groen, blauw, paars, oranje en kastanjebruin, terwijl plekken van zijn bast het hele jaar door afvallen. Hawaii herbergt veel van deze prachtige struiken die tot een hoogte van 60 meter kunnen uitgroeien! Velen beschouwen de regenboog-eucalyptus als de mooiste boom op aarde.

Our guide was beyond amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He knows the area and can provide insight that many guid a s could not. He showed us places we would have never found on our own. His driving was excellent on a road I would never do on my own. If given the opportunity I would encourage visitors to use this company vs driving on their own. Relaxing and so much more to see and hear the history.

Tour guide was good but the Van had way too many people and we didn't go to the 7 sacred pools at the end of the road to Hana. They also didn't use the Ma'alaea Park and Ride for us who were staying in Kihei, Makena, Wailua so on the return we had to drive right past it and go all the way to Lahaina/Kaanapali which took over 2 hours up and back !!!! This made the tour very long.

Great excursion. Our guide Quinn, was so knowledgeable about the Road to Hana. He gave the history and folklore of Maui in such an entertaining fashion it made the 9 hour trip fly by. Along with the fantastic scenery it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

This is a must do for almost any age and ability! Start off in a very nice facility and instruction process. Tom was very laid back but strict in the training and really well versed on the tour information. We really enjoyed the headset, so you will not miss any of the historical information while maneuvering your Segway. Top notch equipment gave us the confidence to maneuver easily through all of the humps, bumps and turns on the streets of Lahaina. Several stops along the way were right on time, which were necessary for historical briefings. We are avid Segway tourers in many destinations around the US, and we all agree that Tom, of Segway Maui, is at the top of the list! Mahalo, Mike

We had such a great time learning about the city of Lahaina! It was a beautiful Maui morning and an amazing way to start the day. We did this as a family (5 of us), one being my 74 year old mother in law. She was nervous and our guide Tom, was amazing…going through all the training with us, being so patient and kind. By the end of training, we were all ready to try! The tour Tom gave us was so interesting, informative and riding the streets of Lahaina was so fun! Highly recommend this activity! Such good mems!
