Haal je op in je hotel in het centrum van Peking en rijd vervolgens rechtstreeks naar Mutianyu Great Wall. Eenmaal aangekomen bij de Mutianyu Grote Muur, zul je genieten van een minder gehaaste ervaring en de tijd nemen om je te vergapen aan dit wonderlijke bouwwerk en de omliggende heuvels. Ongeveer 3 uur op en neer wandelen op de verschillende delen van de Muur, waarbij je de wacht- en bakentorens verkent. Mutianyu is wat ruiger en iets minder druk dan het bekendere Badaling. Ruim 96% van Mutianyu is bedekt met bomen en boomgaarden, waardoor de lucht in de lente geurig blijft van kastanjebloesems en het hele jaar door fris blijft. Na Wall keert u terug naar uw hotel.

We had a great private tour of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel in a private car by a driver and our tour guide, Lili. Lili was very informative about not only the Great Wall, but also Beijing. She arranged for online Great Wall entry tickets and cable car tickets in advance, which allowed us to skip all of the long lines after we arrived. She knew of all the short cuts which allowed us to get up to the wall in no time. The section of the wall that we were on was not very crowded and was very picturesque. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at a roadside fruit stand to pick up some delicious local peaches. I couldn’t say more about our experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Worth every penny.
What a wonderful experience by our tour guide Sandy and our driver Mr Zhang who were amazing. Sandy was very knowledgeable about Beijing and the Great Wall. We had a family of one adult and three teenagers and Sandy and our driver were so accommodating and were also able to recommend places to eat, where to go shopping and other sight seeing options while we travel in Beijing. We had a great experience at the Wall and learnt about the history of this beautiful land and its treasure. Our trip to the Great Wall from Beijing was absolutely amazing, all thanks to our incredible guide Michael. He was knowledgeable, friendly, speaks good english and he made sure we had the best spots for photos without the crowds. Highly recommend!

Shane was a great tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us a lot of the history of the Great Wall. Make sure to take the early tours to avoid a lot of the crowds and to beat the heat! It was a must see bucket list item while in Beijing :)

We spend a lot of time deciding which Wall site to visit and this was the best decision. The wall is amazing and the chair lift option and toboggan down was so unique and fun. Go in the morning as it got busier and hotter. Long queues to get in when we were leaving and no traffic getting to the site (1 hr 20 min) Request Guo Frank as the driver/guide. He was so helpful in showing us the right way and getting us in. He also gave us lots of space and time to enjoy it ourselves. This is absolute must do in China!!

Me and my sister went on this tour together. Our tour guide, Shane, was so welcoming, nice and knowledgeable about the history og the Great Wall! I really recommend booking this trip early or you want good photos or just want to avoid the crowds. Shane helped us with the best places to take pictures, which was super nice! He also customized the trip by how challenging you want the tour to be, as some parts of the wall are very steep! Overall a great experience and I would really recommend booking!
