Koop uw toegangsbewijs voor de Verboden Stad om deze indrukwekkende attractie tijdens uw reis naar Peking te verkennen. Ontdek de geheimen die verborgen zijn gebleven sinds de Ming-dynastie tot het einde van de Qing-dynastie (1420 tot 1912). Deze stad werd gebouwd van 1406 tot 1420. De stad bestaat uit 980 gebouwen! Veel plezier met het doorbrengen van de dag kijken naar onbetaalbare Chinese artefacten. Let op : • Paspoort naam en nummer is vereist op het moment van boeking voor "alle deelnemers" bij boeking • Dit ticketproduct biedt u direct toegang tot de Verboden Stad met uw paspoort • Dit is Verboden Stad ticket niet inclusief Tiananmen Square reservering, kunt u gewoon een taxi nemen naar de oostelijke poort of de westelijke poort van de Verboden Stad en lopen naar de hoofdingang South Gate (Meridian Gate 午门) om rechtstreeks naar de Verboden Stad. Je hoeft niet over het Tiananmenplein.

Gasten kunnen direct worden afgezet bij Donghuamen. Volg de stadsgracht ongeveer 8 minuten te voet tot u de Meridian Gate (Wumen) bereikt, het enige officiële toegangs- en veiligheidscontrolepunt voor de Verboden Stad. Belangrijk : Donghuamen functioneert alleen als uitgang. Toegang tot de Verboden Stad is NIET toegestaan in Donghuamen. Ga te voet naar Meridian Gate voor beveiliging en ticketverificatie. Wat je moet weten ⚠️ Vermijd reizen door Tiananmen Square naar Meridian Gate te bereiken Een aparte reservering op echte naam voor het Tiananmen-plein is verplicht en moet ten minste 1 dag van tevoren worden geboekt. Uw groepsreiskaart voor de Verboden Stad omvat GEEN toegang tot het Tiananmenplein. Na boeking met uw paspoortnaam en -nummer (voor alle deelnemers) heeft u direct toegang tot de Verboden Stad via de veiligheidscontrole en door uw paspoort te tonen bij de hoofdingang, Meridian Gate. Verboden Stad schema : • Hoogseizoen : 1 april t/m 31 oktober (dinsdag t/m zondag) - Laatste toegang is om 16.00 uur • Zomervakantie : juli tot augustus (maandag tot zondag) - Laatste toegang is om 16.00 uur • Laagseizoen : 1 november tot 31 maart (dinsdag tot zondag) - Laatste toegang is om 15 uur: 30 Let op : • Dit is pre booking service, de bevestiging zal 6 dagen voor de tourdatum worden verzonden. • Paspoort naam en nummer is vereist op het moment van boeking voor "alle deelnemers" bij boeking • Dit ticketproduct biedt u direct toegang tot de Verboden Stad met uw paspoort • Houd er rekening mee dat Chinese onderdanen, waaronder bezoekers uit Hong Kong, Macau en Taiwan, 7 dagen van tevoren tickets voor de Verboden Stad moeten boeken. Wij kunnen geen boekingen accepteren die binnen 7 dagen na de bezoekdatum zijn gemaakt.
De Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohe Dian) is de laatste grote zaal in de Outer Court.
De Poort van Hemelse Zuiverheid (Qianqing Men) scheidt het paleis in het Buiten- en Binnenhof. Achter de poort bevindt zich het woongedeelte van het paleis.
De twee kamers in het oosten werden veranderd in bruidskamers voor de keizer en keizerin; terwijl de overige vier kamers werden gebruikt als een plaats van aanbidding.
Achter de Hall of Earthly Tranquility ligt de keizerlijke tuin waar de leden van de keizerlijke familie zichzelf recreëerden.
Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihe Dian), ook wel 'Hall of Golden Throne' genoemd, is de grootste zaal in het paleis en het grootste houten bouwwerk in China.

Als u alleen losse tickets heeft geboekt, ga dan zelf naar de veiligheidscontrole van de Meridian Gate en toon uw paspoort voor toegang. Als u de optie Verboden Stad groepsreis heeft geselecteerd, zorg dan dat u op tijd aanwezig bent voor de vergadering bij de ingang van Kapok Hotel Donghuamen. Laatkomers worden niet toegelaten tot de Verboden Stad.

- Het ticket is alleen geldig op de dag dat u boekt om te reizen

Jade was an amazing tour guide. Super nice and knowledgable. With how big the complex is, she was able to show the best highlights with humor and insight. She is also an expert on where to get the best photos to make the most of your experience! You really need to find out in advance about the visits to make, because the Forbidden City is immense. There are several galleries, museums, and palaces to visit, each located at a fairly significant walking distance. You must therefore organize your route well in advance, in order to save your energy and patience, especially with the heat and the crowd. It is also important to locate the right subway exit in advance, because you can easily get lost. Once there, finding the right path can quickly become a real obstacle course, or even a marathon, with the long distances to cover and the omnipresent crowd

The tour was exceptionally well organized, from start to finish. Communication prior to the trip was excellent, directions were clear, and we departed on schedule. During the summer, the ticket office is very busy, so it took us almost one hour to enter the Forbidden City. However, this didn’t have a negative impact on the overall experience. The tour covers an impressive amount of ground and highlights all key attractions, including historical buildings, bridges, gates, plazas, artwork, furniture, and gardens. It provided a comprehensive overview of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site. A special shout out to our guide Jade, who was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and passionate about sharing the history and significance of each location. She took great care of each participant, asked interesting questions to keep all engaged, answered all inquiries with patience and expertise, and made the experience both educational and enjoyable.
