Dit is een unieke tour voor klanten die ons prachtige eiland bezoeken met een cruiseschip. Nadat we je hebben opgehaald bij de cruiseschipterminal, gaan we op een tour van waaruit je meer te weten kunt komen over de geschiedenis en tradities van ons eiland. We bieden een scala aan prachtige landschappen en attracties. Fotostops zelfs zwemstop als je dat wilt en als het voorbij is, zul je vervuld zijn van vreugde, verwondering, opwinding en gemoedsrust.

Argostoli is sinds 1757 de hoofdstad van de regio Kefalonia. Het is het commerciële en administratieve centrum van het eiland en heeft prachtige neoklassieke gebouwen. Het is een moderne stad met een opmerkelijke historische en culturele traditie. Argostoli, amfitheatrisch gebouwd met het oog op de lagune van Koutavos, kijkt uit over de met dennenbomen bedekte Aenos. Het bekijken van Katavothres is een van de zeldzaamste fenomenen: grote hoeveelheden zeewater dringen het land binnen op de locatie van Agii Theodori in Lassi zonder achteruit te gaan, en verschijnen weer bij het dorp Karavomylos bij Sami.
ALLEEN FOTOSTOP Het strand van Myrtos, het mooiste strand van het eiland en een van de mooiste stranden van Europa, met sneeuwwit zand, een paradijs op aarde wordt beschermd door hoge rotsen terwijl de zee sublieme combinaties biedt met kleuren variërend van blauw- groen tot diepblauw.
ALLEEN FOTOSTOP Assos is amfitheater gebouwd rond het schiereiland, dat wordt omgeven door weelderige gebieden. Het dorp heeft zijn authentieke traditionele Ionische architectuur behouden en het rijke groen van hoge dennen en cipressen ontmoet het blauwe water van de Ionische zee, waardoor een idyllisch landschap ontstaat dat alleen de natuur kan creëren.
We bereiken het pittoreske dorpje Agia Efimia. Het is een rustige stad met brede straten en een goede stadsplanning, met een haven waar in de zomer talloze jachten van over de hele wereld samenkomen.
De prachtige grot van de numph Melissani en de oude Griekse god Panas. De grot van het Melissani-meer bevindt zich al sinds mythische tijden in Kefalonia en werd voor het eerst verkend in 1951. Een aardbeving creëerde een opening in het dak van de grot van het meer, en dat dak laat de zonnestralen beperkt binnen en creëert een buitengewoon tafereel van blauw en turquoise wateren. We zullen het binnenste van de grot van het meer per boot bezoeken, en we zullen ook het kleine eiland zien waar onze voorouders ceremonies hielden gewijd aan God Panas en de nimfen.
Het strand van Antisamos is het beroemde strand uit de film "The Captain Corelli's Mandolin", die de magie van het Kefalonische landschap onthult. De route fascineert de bezoeker, terwijl we een van de groenste delen van het eiland doorkruisen met torenhoge pijnbomen. We stoppen op een geschikte plaats om wat foto's te maken. Het strand is kiezelstrand met wit zand en omgeven door groene heuvels. De wateren van het strand zijn azuurblauwe kristallen. Het strand is georganiseerd met een snackbar, ligstoelen, parasols en watersporten. Altijd geëerd met de onderscheiding van een blauwe vlag.
De Drogarati-grot is meer dan 100 miljoen jaar oud. Als je dat in gedachten houdt en naar de indrukwekkende formaties kijkt, kun je proberen uit te vinden hoe oud ze zijn: ze groeien ongeveer 1 cm in 100 jaar.
Het heilige klooster van St. Gerasimos in de "Omala"-vallei. Daar komen twee keer per jaar duizenden gelovigen bijeen om de vrome relikwie van de heilige Gerasimos te vereren en te bidden. Aan de heiligen zijn talloze wonderen toegeschreven en het landschap is zeker zeer vroom.
De Robola-wijncoöperatie van Kefalonia in de vallei "Omala". Bij de wijnmakerij kunt u het Museum of Robola bezoeken, gratis de wijnen proeven en uit ons brede assortiment wijnen kiezen en kopen.
Nadat de tour is voltooid, zullen we de drop-off maken op dezelfde plaats waar we je hebben opgehaald.

Constantine the tour guy was great! . Very knowledgeable of the history of the Island Constantine took us to a lovely restaurant called Bellos grill! The food was very traditional! The whole experience was great though out the tour!!

The caves and the underground lake at Melissani Cave were absolutely breathtaking—photos truly don’t do them justice. We had a shore excursion with one other couple. Driven & guided around the highlights of kefalonia in a smart black people carrier. Every corner we turned produced the most splendid views. This is a well organized and conducted tour in a comfortable van, with a knowledgeable guide. The scenery is exquisite and the underground cave and boat ride a special experience, although there is a long walk on a slope, both up and down. We learned about the history of the Island, geology of the area, and the devastation from the major earthquake. The second cave was basically a large cavern which has been abused by nature and by humans, which added little to the tour. With its 120 steps, it could be skipped.

We had a wonderful day in Kefalonia with Costa. We is such a genuine person and is very proud of his country. He did his best to show us the most beautiful places for some photo shoots. Costa picked us up from the cruise port in a lovely comfortable air conditioned van. We visited the Melissani Caves and Drogarati Caves where we were very lucky to be in with no other visitors, a benefit of going on this independent trip as opposed to a cruise ship tour. We went to a winery where we got to taste four different wines along with some Bruschetta, there was no pressure to buy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

AMAZING!!! Our guide was Isidora. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and great to hangout with. She helped us out with everything you could ask or not ask. During the whole tour she taught us very interesting things about the islands/spots. We left this tour like real Greek people "knowing everything". The spots were great. The only set back was that we wish to have more time at the beach (we had 40 minutes), but it is understandable since we got to see a lot of things and we did have a long ride. I have no complaint about this tour. Definitely worth it 100%.
