Fietstocht door de Araneilanden met thee en scones - Dagtocht naar Inisheer vanuit Doolin
Beschrijving
Dit is de BESTE manier om het meeste uit uw tijd op de Aran-eilanden te halen. Inisheer is de kleinste van de 3 Aran-eilanden. Het ligt op slechts 20 minuten van de kust van Doolin en de Cliffs of Moher. Eenmaal aangekomen op het eiland pakken we onze fietsen en gaan we op pad voor een 2 uur durende fietstocht over het eiland. Als u niet van fietsen houdt, kunnen wij zonder extra kosten een trekkerskoetstocht voor u organiseren. Na de rondleiding krijgen we zelfgebakken scones en thee terwijl we verhalen horen van een lokale eilandbewoner!

Als je het eiland betreedt, zul je meteen begrijpen waar het leven op het eiland om draait. Je ziet paarden, lokale boeren. Je zult Iers (of Gaelic) horen spreken door de lokale bevolking en je ruikt de meest frisse lucht die de Atlantische Oceaan kan bieden. Tijd om het eiland op de fiets te verkennen! U hoeft niet in de rij te staan, uw gids zorgt voor uw fietsverhuur. Uw deskundige gids zal u rondleiden op het eiland. Je zult gezonken kerkhoven, scheepswrakken, kastelen en nog veel meer ervaren. Na je rondleiding brengt je gids je naar een plaatselijk café dat een reservering voor je heeft. Ook hier niet in de rij staan, gewoon binnenlopen en genieten! Je zult trouwens helemaal weg zijn van dit café. Probeer zeker de scones! Na de lunch kunt u genieten van uw vrije tijd op het eiland. Mensen gaan graag naar de kroeg voor een pint, met de kinderen naar de speeltuin of gewoon chillen op het strand! Je ontmoet je gids terug bij de pier waar we aan boord gaan van de veerboot op weg terug naar Doolin.

Perfect day out with wonderful guides. Great atmosphere guaranteed while getting an authentic experience with beautiful views!! We got the added bonus of beautiful sunny weather too.
Wife and I took the bike tour of Inisheer with Ollie. Upgraded to e bikes as never tried them and was worth the small extra, great fun, in reality was not a special stage of the TDF so regular bikes would have been fine. As for the tour Ollie was entertaining and a great guide, gave us fascinating insights into island life, past and present, and showed us points of interest on the island. The tour starts with a short ferry ride from Doolin to Inisheer and ends at the island’s small cafe for tea and cake. Would absolutely recommend doing this if you are on the West Coast of Ireland, Ollie, his team, and everyone we met on the island (as well as others in the small tour group) were charming and very welcoming.
My sister, daughter & I loved this experience! Simon was an amazingly knowledgeable and fun guide! My sister and daughter did the e-bikes but I did the pony cart. Both were excellent! Inisheer is beautiful, quaint and is steeped in history. The Guinness is excellent and so are the sweaters! We highly recommend this company and this tour!
A fantastic tour around Inisheer with Sean who brought the craic, was the craic and generally gave us a great time! Recommend!
Had an amazing trip from start to finish. Sean our guide was so pleasant and helpful. He ensured everyone was together and informed us all about the history of the island. He even thought the tour some Irish. Una's coffee and scones was a treat at the end. Highly recommended tour.

Shaun was an awesome tour guide and awesome to have for the 2 of us that booked the bike ride. Unfortunately, for the 2 that booked the horse and carriage, this was not available when we arrived, despite booking several weeks in advance and also messaging the company a few days before to confirm this. Our tour guide had to call the company to arrange for a different time of the tour after we already arrived on the island. If the horse and carriage tour proceeded as planned, these 2 people in our party would have had 1 hour, after their tour, to have lunch at the pub. Instead, they only had 45 min of free time before they had to meet for their tour and this 45 min was too early in the day to have lunch. Unfortunately they had to wait outside, in full sun, which is a lot for a couple in their late 70s/almost 80 years old. It would be good if a refund was issued.

Great experience! Sean was a great tour guide and kept us entertained with stories of the island. We were happy to be able to have a combo of e-bikes and regular ones. The ride isn’t terribly strenuous, but the option was great for the members of our group that were less physically fit. The scones were a wonderful way to wrap up the tour. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience.

Sean was an absolute gem. He is so organized, enthusiastic, charismatic and hilarious. We learned a ton and had so much fun. We had the best day on the island Sean and Freya helped me organize a 25th wedding anniversary renewal and surprised my husband.
