Ervaar twee Oostenrijkse favorieten: traditionele appelstrudel en uw eigen versgebakken Salzburg-pretzel. Je bereidt beide zelf terwijl je stap voor stap wordt begeleid door een ervaren chef-kok. De kookschool zelf draagt bij aan de ervaring: hij is gelegen in een van Salzburgs oudste wijken, waar eeuwenoude huizen direct in de stadsmont zijn gebouwd. Meer dan alleen een kookles, het is een heerlijke en vermakelijke manier om Salzburg te ervaren, andere reizigers te ontmoeten en een klein stukje Oostenrijkse voedselcultuur mee naar huis te nemen.

This class was fantastic!! We made our own apple strudel and pretzels all in 1.5 hours and both tasted delicious! The recipes were presented for us to follow easily and I am excited to try making them back home. The instructor and her assistant were friendly and helpful I would highly recommend this class.
Johann was a fabulous instructor - spoke excellent English, gave very clear instructions, and was extremely well organised. The class was very hands-on - each couple got to handle their own dough, and make their own strudels and pretzels. (The dough we used was already made up by Johann because it has to prove for 12 hours beforehand.) Lunch was Johann’s delicious goulash soup accompanied by our own pretzels and apple strudel. Takeaway boxes were supplied to take home extra apple strudel. I really enjoyed this experience - the instruction was professional, the food was great, and now I know how to make real Austrian Äpfelstrudel and Bretzeln.
Very fun class and delicious lunch! Leonardo was a great instructor and our other instructor also gave us a beautiful performance. Highly recommend!
The class was fun and informative. The instructor, Johann, was extremely knowledgeable and organized, he was able to teach us without making us look like the bad cooks that we are. He kept us entertained and fed us!
We took a day trip into Salzburg and booked this experience with friends. It was such a great time at Edelweiss Cooking School. Johann made it easy and enjoyable. We started with the apple strudel and then made the pretzels. We had a lovely lunch at the end where we got to enjoy what we made and were also served a soup Johann made, which was delicious!
Johann was a terrific teacher and made the class fun! We learned and then ate. Overall, a wonderful time.
Fun class, very friendly teacher, and yummy lunch! Neither my husband, or myself, are handy in the kitchen, but Johann made it easy and fun.
