De kajaktocht naar Grotta Pandora langs de kust van Amalfi is een opwindende ervaring waarmee je de schoonheid van de rotsachtige kust, kustgrotten en afgelegen stranden kunt verkennen. Je gids geeft inzicht in de lokale geologie, flora en fauna, en de tour is geschikt voor mensen van alle leeftijden en ervaringsniveaus.

We passeren de Normandische toren van Maiori, een machtig verdedigingsbastion dat de stad beschermde tegen aanvallen vanuit de zee, vooral door Saraceense piraten. De constructie dateert van tussen 1250 en 1300 en sindsdien is het een karakteristiek element van het Maiori-panorama dat zo ver is vereeuwigd in verschillende schilderijen.
We bezoeken de Grotta Sulfurea (of "Suffregna") in de buurt van het strand van Aquachiara, een kleine grot direct na de Normandische toren. Hier gutst een bron van zwavelhoudend water uit de rots, die als wonderbaarlijk wordt beschouwd vanwege de goede effecten op de huidverzorging. De lokale bevolking dronk het met wat citroensap om de geur te verminderen of nam gewoon een bad in het natuurlijke zwembad in de grot.
We zullen de rotsformaties zien die van Grotta Pandora een ongerepte natuurlijke parel maken
We stoppen voor een pauze bij de Spiaggia del Cavallo Morto (Cala Bellavaia) in Maiori. De naam is het resultaat van verschillende verhalen. De meest aanvaarde bewering is dat het strand vanaf 1800 de plaats was waar de lichamen van door werk verscheurde paarden langs de muilezelpaden van de kust van Amalfi werden gegooid. Hier heb je ook snorkeluitrusting tot je beschikking voor degenen die de schoonheid onder water verborgen willen zien, en een aperitief van Lemon Spritz en vers fruit om te ontspannen op het strand.

Awesome half day out exploring the coast along to Maori, absolutely stunning. Alessio, our guide was excellent, funny, chilled with interesting history to share about his home town of Minori and the landscape around. Thank you for an amazing experience 😊
The kayak tour was very nice to spend a hot day at the Amalfi coast. The guide was around ten minutes late, but I think that is meant as in time in Italy. :) We were in one natural cave and at a beach which you can only access via boat or kayak. Therefore you had only a few people. The guide mixed a perfect Limoncello and gave us some watermelon. He was very relaxed and he also explained the cities, buildings and the landscape.
Wow it was absolutely amazing! The best thing we did on our week holiday. Beautiful views of the Amalfi coast and the beach we stopped at was spectacular! The tour guide was helpful, informative and funny. The fruit and drinks were a lovely addition and well needed! Would 100% recommend to everyone!!

This was incredible! Alessio was an excellent resource to us, making sure we planned for an incredible day for our family. His boat was bigger than we expected and very nice with places to relax in and out of the sun and the bathroom and shower were nice amenities. Alessio took us to places along the coast that we wanted to see and helped us understand the history as we went. We got to go snorkeling several times and had plenty of drinks and snacks. This was a perfect day for our family. Alessio is kind, funny, and attentive and all of us said this boat trip was a highlight of our Italian adventure. Probably any boat would be fine, but Alessio made our trip one of a lifetime. Excellent for families!

The guide, Alessandro, as well as his colleague Alessio, were very kind and capable. Breathtaking landscapes and sea, wonderful experience. The lemon spritz is spectacular. Recommended experience.
We (family of 5) had a really enjoyable morning with local guides Alexandro & Matteo, they were fabulous guides, so friendly and welcoming to this beautiful area. Everything worked out as planned, couldn't have been better, great equipment & insight into the region. Stopped at a lovely beach for snorkling. Lovely chilled experience. Thank you!
What a great experience in Minori! This was our first experience of our two-week vacation in Italy with teens and it was incredible. Absolutely incredible! It was easy to find the statue by the beach to meet our guide(s). Ally & Ricardo were incredible. Ally was kind, thorough, and really looked after our safety. It was a misty/gloomy June day, but we had a great time and even stayed on the beach for an extra limoncello with the team. We learned and saw a lot of Minori and Maiori. Don't hesitate, enjoy. :)
A perfect family outing!! A fabulous day of kayaking, and swimming at hidden beaches with refreshing beverages in the magnificent clear waters of the Amalfi coast. We were accompanied by the amazing Alessandro and Mateo who made the experience 10/10.
