Uw ochtend begint met een handige pick-up van 06:45 uur bij de iconische Bell Tower op Barrack Square, of vraag gratis hotel pick-up van geselecteerde Perth CBD locaties. Een vroeg vertrek zorgt ervoor dat u van de Pinnacles Desert kunt genieten voordat de drukte arriveert, waardoor u een zeldzame, bijna privé-ervaring krijgt. Ontmoet je Gids en gastheer voor de dag, Cara, die deze regio als een tweede huis kent. Op deze reis ben je geen toerist, je bent een gast. De schilderachtige rit naar het noorden van Perth brengt ons recht in het hart van Nambung National Park en in de Pinnacles Desert. Onze 4WD-mogelijkheden laten de drukte achter zich en nemen u mee van de gebruikelijke toeristische routes, waardoor we de 4,5 km lange gouden zanderige rijlus kunnen verkennen. Onderweg Gids Cara je naar de beste fotostops, zoals "Chungs Rock Photo Frame" of het "Desert Rock Platform". Je hebt de vrijheid om in je eigen tempo van dichtbij te wandelen tussen de duizenden opvallende pinakels en verborgen hoeken en momenten te ontdekken die de surrealistische schoonheid van de woestijn vanuit elk perspectief vastleggen.
Bezoek het Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre om de fascinerende geologische theorieën achter de kalksteenformaties te ontdekken en het rijke culturele en natuurlijke erfgoed van het gebied te verkennen. Neem even de tijd om door de cadeauwinkel te bladeren, waar je eigenzinnige en unieke souvenirs vindt om je dag te herinneren.
Vervolgens is het tijd om een ontspannen plek te vinden voor ochtendthee, afhankelijk van het weer van de dag en de lokale omstandigheden, kiezen we een van de prachtige afgelegen stranden van de regio om op te parkeren. Cara organiseert warme thee of koffie, u kunt genieten van een koekje of twee terwijl u geniet van de bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van het strand om u heen. U bent van harte welkom om een ligstoel te pakken, uw tenen in het water te dopen, een wandeling te maken langs het zandstrand of gewoon te ontspannen en te genieten van de rustige omgeving.
Onze reis gaat verder naar het Thetismeer om de opmerkelijke Trombolieten te ontdekken. Deze oude, gesteenteachtige structuren zijn levende fossielen, gevormd door microbiële gemeenschappen en vertegenwoordigen enkele van de vroegste tekenen van leven op aarde. Terwijl je over de gemakkelijke promenade wandelt, zie je een zeldzame blik in dit oude leven en ontdek je wat deze formaties zo bijzonder maakt.
Geniet van een ontspannen lunchstop aan de kust terwijl u kijkt naar de kreeftboten die aanmeren na het cruisen over de Indische Oceaan. Kies uit emmers garnalen, zeevruchten chowder, Australische oesters, octopus salade, calamari of de klassieke fish and chips. Naast een selectie van visgerechten zijn er alternatieve maaltijden beschikbaar, evenals glutenvrije en vegetarische opties. In de middag trekken we zuidwaarts naar het uitgestrekte witte zand van de Lancelin Dunes, een van de grootste zandduinvelden in West-Australië. Neem de tijd om herinneringen op te halen aan je dag, foto's op het laatste moment vast te leggen of gewoon te genieten van de unieke landschappen die je hebt verkend.
Terugkerend naar Barrack Square Elizabeth Quay of uw CBD-hotelaccommodatie, brengt Cara u even na 17:00 terug naar Perth, zodat u genoeg tijd heeft om eropuit te trekken en 's avonds van Perth City te genieten.

This was a fabulous tour from start to finish, and that includes the fact that it was a rainy day and I was jetlagged! Great communication, convenient pick up, comfortable vehicle and loved the small group size of no more than five! The tour guide, Cara, is an absolute pleasure to spend the day with, accommodates both individual interests and fluctuations in weather, such that it made it easy to get great photos, stop and get out at areas of interest (walk along the beach, up the sand dunes, through pinnacle desert), eat great food (fresh lobster!), and just generally enjoy what was a long tour day, but didn’t even feel like it! Particularly like Cara’s approach to leaving Perth early in the morning to avoid crowds at both pinnacles and the sand dunes. This tour is especially great for anyone who is an early riser (and/or is up early due to jet lag!) as you get back in time for dinner after getting to do/cease so many things.
A great day out of Perth with Cara, who was an awesome guide, in a small group tour. Everything was thoughtfully done, with loo stops, coffee, tea and snacks, the amazing Pinnacles, a view of a lake, super lunch, and fun sand boarding at Lancelin. A great fun filled day, I would thoroughly recommend!
This was a fabulous experience. Cara was a terrific guide with lots of interesting facts and stories. The vehicle was very comfortable and the lobster lunch delicious. Cara made us feel that everything on the tour was about us and we had a fabulous day. Saw so many beautiful and fascinating sights and nothing was too much trouble.

It was a wonderful experience for us and we are grateful for such a memorable day. Our tour guide, Cara, was outstanding. She was warm, friendly and caring throughout the entire journey. She was also very flexible and attentive, making sure our needs were met at every step. We absolutely loved the Pinnacles Desert experience. Cara knew all the best spots and showed us where to capture amazing photos, which made the visit even more special. The Lobster Shack lunch was another highlight. We enjoyed the delicious lobster and the abalone in creamy garlic sauce. The afternoon sandboarding activity was great fun and a unique experience that we will always remember. Cara took fabulous photos and videos for us. Overall, this felt like a personal, private and privileged tour, one of the best we have ever experienced.
Our trip with Cara to the Pinnacles and Sand Dunes at Lancelin was possibly the highlight of our time in Perth. We were joined by one other couple, from the UK, and from the moment we were collected from our accommodation, to the time we were returned, we travelled in a spacious air-conditioned van with a very personalized and individual itinerary. Absolutely nothing was a bother for Cara when it came to our comfort and requests. Not only was she an excellent and competent driver, she was also extremely knowledgeable on a wide range of topics and we heard stories and saw places which would not have been possible with the larger bus tour groups. We were well catered for with a delicious lunch, as well as drinks along the way. We highly recommend Cara and her Take You There Tours to anyone wanting a special experience, tailored to your individual wishes.

This small group tour takes you to places big busses can't come. Because Cara, the guide, drives a minivan we could take a 4 kilometer path along the pinnacles. We made various stops along the way to take pictures. It was amazing to be so close to the pinnacles and walk around them. Cara has a lot of knowledge of the whole area we passed through during the day. Besides the pinnacles we also had some nice stops at a beach, at a very interesting lake and at the sand dunes were we did sandboarding. That was a lot of fun! The lunch was excellent at a very nice location. I highly recommend this tour. Cara takes well care of het guests and tells a lot of interesting stories.
My day trip with Cara to the Pinnacles and Turquoise Coast was amazing! The Pinnacles wow such a unique experience visiting there early and having the park virtually all to ourselves and being able to drive the loop of the park in the comfort of Cara’s van was so lovely! We moved along the coast to a gorgeous white sand beach for a nice cup of coffee and walk on the beach. Next stop was the Lobster Shack for lunch where the famous Western Australia Rock Lobster definitely didn’t disappoint. Onto Lake Thetis we saw the very impressive Thombolites and some wonderful local bird life. Last stop was the sand dunes of Lancelin where so many people were enjoying sand boarding, we were treated to sundowners and Cara made the most perfect G&T with a local product from a place we had driven through aptly named Gingin! I highly recommend this day for so many reasons but most importantly Cara goes out of her way to make each and every moment a memorable experience!
