Extremely Informative and well-paced tour

My family and I had an excellent tour with Rudolph. He explained so much polish history to us, as well as WW2. The stops were interesting and informative and well-paced. Rudolph was easy to listen to and extremely knowledgeable. We covered a lot of ground and really enjoyed our time on this tour. We highly recommend.

Oh the rain…but still great

Very good tour and history lesson. Carolina was a very good guide. The first part of the tour from the old river to the old square of the Jewish Quarter caught a little storm and we found shelter to get more of the history. It broke before we headed to the ghetto. Then, just as the tour ended was a torrential downpour. Even so it was a tremendous way to understand the history of Krakow and the Nazi decimation of the Jewish population. I would suggest starting at Plac Nowy. There was just a walk, no talk, from the main square to the first stop at the old river that marked the division between Krakow and the island of Kazimierz. It would have been more economical to gather everyone at Plac Nowy.

Give yourself a favor, go with Dale and listen the stories

Absolutely effortless and engaging presentation from Dale! Key facts presented, buildings introduced, legends told and retold.. what else would one want? Do spend a few hours with him as you’ll learn more than plaques on the buildings tell. Especially on such sensitive and complex topic.

A must do activity to learn more about the history of the city.

Karolina our guide was friendly and attentive to the group. Explained where we would be walking and for how long and when we would have an opportunity to get refreshments etc. The walk itself was interesting and informative. We were encouraged to ask questions. Although Karolina was knowledgeable and offered sufficient information without the need for questions. If you are interested in hearing about WW2 and the effect on the Jewish community within krakow at that time, this is a must do activity.

Experience the Jewish Quarter with Dale!

We loved Dale’s AM Krakow Old Town & Wawel Castle walking tour so much, we came back in the afternoon for THIS one, too. And he did not disappoint! So informative, respectful of the history and tragedy here, and insightful for those of us who are so distant from the events of Europe’s WW2—and especially the horrific Jewish experience. One of our teen grandsons was so intrigued by the mentions Dale made in his morning tour, he came back with us, and got a lot out of it. A number of times he said, “We talked about this in my history class!” But now he’s had the opportunity to SEE some of that history firsthand. This is especially moving because so much of the Jewish Quarter is still THERE!! Not bend out and replaced after the war. Do this tour, if you can! (A lot of walking here, FYI, between the spots we talk about, so just be aware of that if you have mobility limitations. )
