Durante il tour avrai la possibilità di visitare venti sale storiche collegate da passaggi lunghi all'incirca 2 chilometri. La discesa nella miniera avviene dalla scalinata (380 gradini) fino al 1° livello (a una profondità di 64 metri) e il ritorno in superficie mediante ascensore dal pozzo Danilowicz a partire dal 3º livello (a una profondità di 135 metri). Il tour intero dura circa 4-5 ore. Si possono trascorrere circa 2 ore nella miniera di sale.

La miniera di sale di Wieliczka è nella prima lista mondiale del patrimonio culturale e naturale dell'UNESCO per la sua 'importanza nella storia delle miniere. La miniera è anche nota per una lunga tradizione turistica. Questo famoso sito mozzafiato è stato visitato nel corso dei secoli da Nicolaus Copernicus, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Alexander von Humboldt, Dimitri Mendeleev, Boleslaw Prus, Ignacy Paderewski, Papa Giovanni Paolo II e incoronati capi di stato, per non parlare di milioni di persone provenienti da tutto il mondo. Nel tour è inclusa una splendida "città sotterranea" con laghi, passaggi e la meravigliosa cappella di Santa Kinga. L'intero tour dura circa 4-5 ore. Trascorrerai circa 2 ore nella miniera di sale. Se desideri scattare foto, devi acquistare l'autorizzazione all'ingresso della Cappella di Santa Kinga. Durante questo tour non c'è pausa pranzo. Dopo il tuo ritorno a Cracovia, verrai lasciato al tuo punto di raccolta.

The driver was good. The guide in the mines was very hard to understand. She did not welcome questions.
It was a nice experience. Pick up was perfectly on time and the salt mines were great. The only issue was that they did not tell us the time when to go back for the return trip, thus we did not do the museum part as we thought that the coach will not wait for us. Another issue was that we went up with the lift that is 400m away from the coach. We were confused how to find the coach. This should have been told to us before we enter the salt mines. Otherwise all was good.

I book a tour under headout for 830am with hotel pickup. The tour was postponed to 1030am and told me 1 day before and the pickup was not my hotel but a pick up point which i had to walk 10mins in the rain to get to jt

The salt mine was very interesting but the organisation from SeeKrakow was atrocious. Our pick up point and time were changed 3 times in less than 24 hours between booking and getting on the bus, which was confusing and disconcerting. At the salt mine the driver handed us over to a guide taking a general public individual tour, not an organised group tour as we had been led to believe. This meant we exited the mine in a town centre about half a mile from where we entered and had no idea how to get back to the bus. It was only when someone from SeeKrakow phoned to complain that we were late and holding up the bus that we got directions. I would definitely advise finding a different tour operator to book the salt mine with.

In the confirmation messages sent from our reservation system, there was a general starting time for the tour noted as 08:30. However, since you opted for hotel pick-up, we adjusted your pick-up time to 08:40. We apologise if this caused any confusion. Regarding the tour inside the mine and the challenges you encountered with the exit location, the choice of which exit lift to use at the end of the tour is entirely at the discretion of the Salt Mine Dispatch and the Guide. Unfortunately, we do not receive updates about this from the mine. We also regret any frustration caused by the follow-up call regarding the bus. Our intention was not to imply a complaint but rather to locate you and ensure you received assistance with finding the bus, as all other participants in our tour had already boarded. This was a fabulous trip. We were picked up on time and the return to the hotel was good. The tour itself was fascinating and the salt mine with its chambers and sculptures was incredible.

Excellent trip. Tour guide extremely knowledgeable. Be prepared there are a lot of steps but going down not up. Would highly recommend.
