Durante questa visita guidata di due ore visiterai la Moschea-Cattedrale, il monumento più importante di Cordova. Quindi farai un tour a piedi del quartiere ebraico accompagnato da una guida storica.

La visita guidata eseguita da esperti storici, vi condurrà attraverso un tempio vivo che è stato testimoni di numerosi eventi storici. Non vi lascerà indifferenti. Spiegheremo le diverse fasi di costruzione, partendo dai resti della antica basilica visigota di San Vicente che sono ancora conservate. Seguiremo la Visita guidata alla vecchia moschea che fu costruita dall'emiro Abderraman I e al a seguito di espansioni fino al periodo Almanzor. Dopo la conquista della città da parte dell'esercito cristiano la Moschea divenne Cattedrale e occupò diversi magazzini a causa dell'allargamento del Califfo Al-Hakam II per le celebrazioni liturgiche. Successivamente fu costruito il transetto esistente della Cattedrale.
Non vi lascerà indifferenti. In secondo luogo, cammineremo lungo il noto quartiere ebraico, dove conosceremo la Sinagoga, il Souk degli Artigiani e il Monumento a Maimonide.

This IS A CAN’T MISS in Cordoba! The cathedral is amazing, extremely historical and beautiful. The information given is a bit complicated. But, we had perhaps the BEST guide ever! Maria is clear and very easy to follow with the many details. She has clearly studied and is perfect for this tour. Maria was also helpful to us and other guests with particular needs. Well done!

Saray was a fantastic guide. She was passionate and knowledgeable and fun. We had a small group for the first part in the historic section and then the group was larger for the mosque and cathedral. The guide was great at keeping us together. We were lucky that the mosque/cathedral was not crowded so it was an enjoyable tour. It is probably one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been.
This was a brilliant tour. The Mosque/Cathedral is stunning and our guide was excellent. Very good value for money. The communication system worked very well.
If you are visiting the mosque of Cordoba I highly suggest doing it with a guide. Our guide, Mr. Salamanca, was very knowledgeable and gave us so much more information than what we already knew. We felt our experience was enriched with the guided tour and very worthwhile.
